The food was really very good, I cannot fault the Chef's creativity, food was cooked perfectly. The atmosphere has a nice vibe to it, the music is the best I've heard played in a restaurant for some time, upbeat, not loud. The decor was chic & different in each of the areas. It's one of the best restaurants no doubt about it, it is also one of the most expensive in town. Before you start be prepared to pay $15 flat fee for valet. The parking is across the street, not right outside. Appetizers we ordered the chefs special which was 5 bite size pieced of minced wagu beef in a tiny dumpling, delicious.. Cost $24. Mains or Entrées vary, steaks, fish.. $48-96 for Dover sole. Good selection of wine, $13 a glass, when I know a bottle of the same costs $16. Must say that chocolate mousse desert was the best I have ever had.. Pricey but perfect to taste.. The waiter service was okay, he was knowledgeable about the menu, but not attentive.. Miami river isn't much to look at, some new buildings, lots of old. Tug boats & an occasional yacht go by, all very scenic. The river location isn't the most desirable, it never was, but it's certainly been cleaned up and done up in the last decade, with driveable streets & cleaned up old buildings verging on the newer condo's. It's worth going for sure, at least once.. We enjoyed it.
