Domain white list

/r/gadgets works with a domain white list, any domain not on the list will need to be approved before the submission will be visible.

Please read the rules:

Submissions must be explicitly about a gadget. (Posts about software or tech companies will be removed. Gadget concepts which do not actually exist belong in /r/ImaginaryGadgets).
Self promotion is not allowed in /r/gadgets. Do not submit links to sites that you are affiliated with. Native advertising and "advertorials" are also not allowed.
Submissions about pre-release or pre-order products are subject to these rules/conditions:
- The article must be from a white listed source.
- The article must be about the gadget, not the company, its business practices, or delivery dates etc.
- The submitter must not be affiliated with the campaign, company or website
No direct image or video links. If you wish to submit an image or video, do so in a selfpost and include a good quality conversation starter.
Describe the gadget in your post title. No sensationalized, misleading or non-descriptive titles.
Articles must about a single gadget, listicles are not allowed.
Keep discussions civil and respectful. Know your reddiquette!. Comments should be on-topic and contribute to the conversation.
No Adult Material.
English only.
If you need advice about a gadget you should ask in the advice superthread. However we highly recommend you also look at the list of related subreddits since you are more likely to find an answer in a specialized subreddit.
Support original sources. Avoid blogs/websites that rehost content without giving credit. Exact copies are never allowed, as are copies that are just slightly rewritten versions of original articles.
Follow the reddit site-wide rules.

Moderation Policy

We use the reddit FAQ guidelines for spam when removing spam posts. Additionally, we use a whitelist system.

If your submission does not appear in the new tab - it may have been caught by the spam filter. Message the moderators, and we will look at it.
