Hotels of North America, by Rick Moody

How is this? I saw the review in NYT a year or so back, but never heard much more about it, nor have I heard of anyone I know reading it.

I'm about a quarter of the way through it and I like it so far. It has some good humor to it. I love the concept of the narrative being told entirely through online reviews of hotels, so now I'm just hoping the story has a good pay off.

Awesome, thanks so much for the reply. Is it as post-structuralist as that makes it sound?

Haha, yeah, I'd say so. Without spoiling anything (I'm only taking from the back of the book), you're setup to believe that these reviews are being published because of how good they are and that Rick Moody was chosen to decipher them. It's kind of meta in a way.
