He assisted Lal Jose in Puramkazhchakal in the ensemble film Kerala Cafe.He has debuted as a director through the Malayalam film named 1983 in the year 2014.His first film1983 was a huge hit and was loved by the audience. This film is considered as a tribute to Sachin Tendulkar
