Wurundjeri elders and owners have this morning taken back a property on Bendigo St from which a man was undignifiedly ejected from last Friday. Up to 6 Wilson Security employees have sat inside the empty property over the last 5 days. The HPUV stands alongside indigenous sovereignty and people’s right to housing. When is the Andrews Labor government finally going to get the message that people are desperate for affordable, secure housing, that they should invest in public housing, and listen to the grassroots homeless voice?
