Description

Why play against one person in a turn when you can play against thousands at once? Wordament® is a real-time continuous word tournament. Players compete on the same board with everyone at once. Rounds offer challenges such as two- and three-letter tiles, themed words, speed rounds and more. You can be a champion in many ways: find the most words possible, earn the best score, find the longest words, best your Frenemies, or beat your top score. How you win is up to you. Wordament tracks your progress by maintaining rich statistics about your gameplay including your best word found, total score, best word count, first place finishes and more. Xbox Leaderboards show you who's rocking it for the day, hour and overall. Climb the ranks and earn achievements and bragging rights along the way. Will you be our next champion?

Annoying flashing icons.

Flashing items on bottom of screen are annoying and distracting. Cheap junk ads that say 'download' and nothing else appear like potential virus or malware. Not on par with quality ap. Other ads with contrasting colors are just as noticeable and more informative. Alternate solution considered: Tape over bottom of screen when playing.

Very good! This is a highly addictive and easy way to pass time and simulate one's brain. The learning curve is easy; finding your way to the top of the leaderboard isn't.

Good vs Bad

I really like this game and its format. However non-Microsoft ads aggravate me. They make the game stall until the ad loads then I fall behind from the other players. Makes the game a little unfair. I understand the need for ads but you need to work out the kinks in the flash ads. Test the ads before sending them our way would be a good start.

Those Killer Ads Slow It Down!!!

I thoroughly enjoyed playing Wordament until the intrusive ads started slowing and stalling my cursor. In order to get rid of this nuisance, I would upgrade the game, but I am no longer given this option. I am considering deleting the game from my computer entirely.

Can't change Xbox accounts!

My Windows account and my Xbox Live account are different accounts, yet every time I sign out in the game and try to switch to my Xbox Live account, it just keeps signing me in to my Windows account! This works without issue with Wordament for Android as well as Microsoft Solitaire Collection for Windows 10. This app does not let me change accounts though.

Laggy

Worked well for months. Recently when updated I've noticed an insurmountable lag that will leave out letters and require repeated entry, enough to break the game. And I'm using an HP Elite x2 tablet, two months old - pretty sure it's not a hardware issue...

Been playing for a year. I would be happy to get 40% ranking when I started. A month ago I ranked 98%. For a while we wondered if people were cheating because 100 words in 2 minutes must be impossible... Then I got 99 words in a game. When the board is difficult, the top ten players get 100 words or less. When the board is generous, the top ten players score 150 words or more. The game is genuinely FUN.
