Description

Scrble is a sublimely simple app for free-hand notes on Windows tablets. Scrble inking is very responsive and fun. You can ink with a pen or with your finger or use touch gesture to pan, zoom or move a selection. You can also capture and import images to annotate. Scrble works great on all kind of touchscreens, but it is even more fun with a digitizer pen, as the one of the Surface Pro. If you want to use a capacitive pen (which is the only option for most RT tablets), make sure you get a good one as the amPen. I warmly suggest watching this short movie for an overview and some useful tips: http://www.scrble.com/tutorials.html NOTE: Please note that this app was not designed to be used with traditional mouse and keyboard. If you like this app, please support its continue development with good ratings. It is most helpful if you email your ideas for features and improvements (instead of review in store), so I can communicate directly with you. Sometimes I may need more information and by emailing me, I can get that from you. Great App

This is a great app. I like the different page options you can chose. If I could make it so I can have some pages as graph and some as blank or lined it would be the best notebook ever then! Right now though I'm happy with the current iteration of this application. Looking forward to seeing what the future brings this application.

Good idea but unreliable

I was using the free trial version of this app and though it was a bit laggy on startups, I really liked it. However, when I tried to reopen a file I was working on, 4 out of 7 pages of notes got deleted :(

Excellent Note Taking Option

I am used to taking notes with an ipad+pencil+penultimate and I am thinking about switching to a surface pro for my school work so I thought about testing this app and works nearly as good as penultimate. I would love to see an option where it could save to Evernote or something similar but the ability to save as image files in a specific folder is good for now. I look forward to the development of this app.

Pretty good

Great app. After a recent update, I noticed the lines drawn appear more pixilated when zoomed in. This was not an issue in the pervious version.

Hello, and thanks for using scrble!! The line is displayed pix-elated temporarily until you refresh the area. Try doing a lasso selection or save and reload the note, and you will see that the line is displayed smoothly. This allows to ink very fast and only redraw using higher fidelity on demand.

The BEST note taking app!

Aside from a few small bugs, this app fully meets my needs. I teach physics and this app is perfect for the classroom using the projector or for writing solutions to problem sets, I love this app.

Best writing App

I love everything about it, I tried bamboo but this is way better. You can print pages, change background, the writing bar automatically moves as you write and you can add shapes and pictures. Great app!

Best Whiteboard App Yet

A simple to use whiteboard app with a good variety of stationary and writing tip styles. One function I would like to see is clear-all. Although this app treats the drawing area like pages that you can scroll down (which is great), I would like to be able treat it like a quick whiteboard and using the eraser or creating a new page isn't exactly how I would like to do it. A fairly small quibble. As a free app, this is fantastic. I would like to see some more advance functionality added either unlocked with a purchase or an option to donate to the developer. I've been using this app over other similar apps to help explain math concepts to my kids. I first heard about this app via windowscentral.com and recommend it to my friends running Win10. If possible, repackage it as UWA and make a version that works with Windows Mobile 10. Thanks!

Loses Pages After Saving

Love the way the app works with its simplicity, however, it keeps losing my notes after I save them and hive them a name. The notes show up in my file explorer but I cannot open them or find them in the Scrble App. Would be my go to if this didn't happen.

Developer comment · Claudia Wey responded on 11/9/2016

This was an outstanding bug which finally I fixed in the update available on November 9, 2016. Please, download this update ASAP to avoid this issue in the future.

Best manuscript paper app

I'm a music teacher, and this is now my go-to app for manuscript paper for quick notes or to demonstrate concepts when I hook up my computer to a projector. It'll probably be even better once I have a Smartboard.

Great App!

Claudia, Please continue your work on this!! It is just what I was looking for, though it still has an occasional bug. I love the easy-to-use features you've included, and I'm glad you left out all the unnecessary extras. I can annotate the exact handouts that I put in my students hands as well as do routine notes and examples for my math students. Simple, yet powerful.
