Set in Afghanistan, Fearless is a short film about a female photographer fighting for survival. Lying wounded in a bomb crater, her only weapons are her courage and her camera.
Starring in the leading role is the talented Kestie Morassi.
The film was made as part of a Producers Class at QPIX, directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier. Lav shot the film employing Arri Alexa and a set of Cooke S4 prime lenses. The entire film was handheld, operated by Lav mostly using an EasyRig. The film was shot over the course of a single day, on location.
The film was posted at boutique post-production house in Brisbane, Chop Shop Post -- www.cspost.com.au - where it was cut, colour graded and sound designed to an original Afghan score recorded for the film.
The film was produced by Temucin Fikret Mustafa, Regan Woolley, Matthew O'Connell, Davis Grainger, Justin Gowdie, Jason Klaassen & Jason Wang

Kestie Morassi
Kestie Morassi (born 1978) is an Australian film and television actress. She played Natalie in the HBO series Satisfaction (2007). Morassi has also appeared in the films Dirty Deeds (2002), Wolf Creek (2005), and The Illustrated Family Doctor (2005), and has made television appearances on Underbelly (2008) and Wilfred (2010).
Biography
Morassi was born in Adelaide, South Australia, where she lived until she was 13 years old. She studied at the National Theatre, Melbourne Drama School, graduating in 1994, and another five years at Drama with a Difference.
Morassi has been in the business for over a decade working in both local and international television, including BeastMaster, Stingers and The Secret Life of Us before making the transition to films in 2002 alongside an all-star cast including Bryan Brown, Toni Collette, Sam Neill, Sam Worthington, and John Goodman in Dirty Deeds which saw her nominated for a Best Supporting Actor award by the Film Critics Circle of Australia.

Set in Afghanistan, Fearless is a short film about a female photographer fighting for survival. Lying wounded in a bomb crater, her only weapons are her courage and her camera.
Starring in the leading role is the talented Kestie Morassi.
The film was made as part of a Producers Class at QPIX, directed by Lav Bodnaruk and Michael Mier. Lav shot the film employing Arri Alexa and a set of Cooke S4 prime lenses. The entire film was handheld, operated by Lav mostly using an EasyRig. The film was shot over the course of a single day, on location.
The film was posted at boutique post-production house in Brisbane, Chop Shop Post -- www.cspost.com.au - where it was cut, colour graded and sound designed to an original Afghan score recorded for the film.
