They prefer to issue fines for doing 43km in 40 km zone rather than ram or shoot a known criminal.

@ThinBlueLine252 I stand with you folks &emergency workers what dreadful situation my heart prayers go out to all affected -
they shouldn't have chased in such a busy area. Should've monitored him & got him later.

-

pity the 3 unmarked cars who fed this scum of the earth up Swanston Street didn't slam into his car before the horrors

every
@VictoriaPolice member there today will be doubting what they have done today. -

-
al these 'experts' on here are pathetic. Why is the first thought to bag police AND NOT THE CROOK!. Wake up cowards.
-
cos they shouldn't have chased in such a busy area, should've monitored him & got him later, they knew who he is
-

-
good come back
-
-
-
why didn't you stop the man when he was circuiting there?
-
more lives would've been put at risk, he could've done anything if he saw the cars or officers approach him
-
only fews meters away in that intersection, and he had been insane. the police should shoot him down or at the car
-
he could've headed into Flinders St Station, the cops could've missed and hit bystanders they were playing it safe
