Companies can utilize AppChoices to easily meet their transparency and control obligations under the DAA Principles.

Companies participating in the DAA provide transparency and choice under the DAA’s Principles. Some ads are customized based on predictions about consumer interests generated from app usage (“interest-based” ads). The DAA Principles apply to interest-based advertising and other applicable uses of cross-app data collected over time and across different, unaffiliated apps. Using AppChoices, consumers can opt out from the collection of cross-app data on a particular device for interest-based advertising and other applicable uses, by some or all of the companies listed in AppChoices.
