Homerton /ˈhɒmərtən/ is a district in East London, England, in the London Borough of Hackney. It is bordered to the west by Hackney Central, to the north by Lower Clapton, in the east by Hackney Wick, Leyton and by South Hackney to the south.
Archaeological excavations at Link Street exposed a building dating to the 11th or 12th century suggesting that Homerton existed before it was first recorded in 1343. The hamlet of Homerton (Humberton or Hummerton, named for the farm of a woman named Hunburh) developed for about a half-mile along the road on the north side of the now buried and lost Hackney Brook, within the vale formed by the brook. This led from the hamlet of Clopton, passing near the church of St Augustine at Hackney, then across the marshes and the crossing points of both the River Lea, and its tributary, Hackney Brook. By 1605 Homerton was the most populous part of the Parish of Hackney, becoming a separate parish in 1846.
Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust runs Homerton University Hospital in Homerton, Hackney- East London.
The Foundation Trust was established on 1 April 2004 and was one among the first ten foundation trusts established in England. It was the designated hospital for the 2012 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
It was named by the Health Service Journal as one of the top hundred NHS trusts to work for in 2015. At that time it had 3330 full-time equivalent staff and a sickness absence rate of 3.09%. 78% of staff recommend it as a place for treatment and 75% recommended it as a place to work.
Five maternal deaths occurred at Homerton between 2013 and 2015. Two unannounced inspections by the Care Quality Commission and an investigation by the Clinical Senate concluded that were staff were slow at recognising patients were deteriorating, and there had been breakdowns in communication. The Commission inspected maternity services at the hospital again in March 2015 and said they were “inadequate” for safety and “requires improvement” overall. None of the midwives they spoke to were aware of the deaths.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) is a National Health Service trust that is responsible for answering and responding to medical emergencies in Greater London, with over 4,500 staff at its disposal. It is one of the busiest ambulance services in the world, and the busiest in the United Kingdom, serving more than 7 million people that live and work in London.
Once a 999 call has been received by the LAS Emergency Operations Centre, the London Ambulance Service will either resolve the call over the telephone or dispatch a front line or A&E support ambulance, fast response car (FRU), motorcycle response unit, cycle response unit or the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (operating a helicopter, trauma response car and physician response unit), depending on the nature of the emergency. In exceptional cases, or where the service deems in necessary, specialist teams can be deployed from within the service, such as the Hazardous Area Response Team and Specialist Operations. These teams are specially trained and equipped to deal with incidents such as working at height or in confined spaces.
Emergency medical services also known as Ambulance services or Paramedic Services (abbreviated to the initialism EMS,EMAS,EMARS or SAMU in some countries) are a type of emergency service dedicated to providing out-of-hospital acute medical care, transport to definitive care, and other medical transport to patients with illnesses and injuries which prevent the patient from transporting themselves. Emergency medical services may also be locally known as a paramedic service, a first aid squad, emergency squad, rescue squad, ambulance squad, ambulance service, ambulance corps, or life squad.
The goal of most emergency medical services is to either provide treatment to those in need of urgent medical care, with the goal of satisfactorily treating the presenting conditions, or arranging for timely removal of the patient to the next point of definitive care. This is most likely an emergency department at a hospital. The term emergency medical service evolved to reflect a change from a simple system of ambulances providing only transport, to a system in which preliminary medical care is given on scene and during transport. In some developing regions, the term is not used, or may be used inaccurately, since the service in question does not provide treatment to the patients, but only the provision of transport to the point of care.
High Street (or the High Street, also High Road) is a metonym for the concept (and frequently the street name) of the primary business street of towns or cities, especially in the United Kingdom and Commonwealth of Nations. To distinguish it from "centres" of nearby places it is frequently preceded unofficially by the name of its settlement. In a town it implies the focal point for business, especially shops and street stalls (if any) in town and city centres. As a generic shorthand presupposed upon linear settlements it may be used to denote more precise concepts such as the urban retail sector, town centre sectors of employment, all small shops and services outlets and even wider concepts taking in social concepts. The smallest High Street in Britain is located in a small market town in Devon called Holsworthy. The street itself is no more than 100 yards long and there are only three shops located on Holsworthy's High Street.
High Street is the most common street name in the UK, which according to a 2009 statistical compilation has 5,410 High Streets, 3,811 Station Roads and 2,702 Main Streets.

I woke up and the sun was shining
All these clouds that once were hiding
A resurrection of a life that's fighting
Just see me through to be reborn
This is my life to live
And I have my soul to give
You can't take it no more
Just see me through to be reborn
Chorus:
And we rise our eyes fixed high
You say you want it you've got to live it
Youve got to live it
I've seen this all before
Your fire fades you close the door
And I will not sit and mourn
Now you will rise to be reborn
Chorus:
And we rise our eyes fixed high
You say you want it you've got to live it
Youve got to live it
Bridge:
With all these words you try to say
Shut your mouth shut your mouth
Come against me everyday
