Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids is an animated series created, produced, and hosted (in live action bookends) by comedian Bill Cosby, who also lent his voice to a number of characters, including Fat Albert himself. Filmation was the production company for the series. The show premiered in 1972 and ran until 1985 (with new episodes being produced on an "on and off" basis during that time frame). The show, based on Cosby's remembrances of his childhood gang, centered on Albert (known for his catchphrase "Hey hey hey!"), and his friends.
The show features an educational lesson in each episode, emphasized by Cosby's live-action segments. In addition, at the end of the early episodes, the gang typically gathers in their North Philadelphia junkyard to play a song on their cobbled-together instruments, summarizing the show's lesson.
The character Fat Albert first appeared in Cosby's stand-up comedy routine "Buck Buck," as recorded on his 1967 album Revenge. The stories were based upon Cosby's tales about growing up in inner city North Philadelphia. In 1969, Cosby and veteran animator Ken Mundie brought Fat Albert to animation in a one-shot prime-time special entitled Hey, Hey, Hey, It's Fat Albert.
Kristen Anne Bell (born July 18, 1980) is an American actress and singer. Born in Detroit, she began her acting career by starring in stage productions and attended the Tisch School of Arts in New York. In 2001, she made her Broadway debut as Becky Thatcher in The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and starred in the Broadway revival of The Crucible the following year. In 2004, she had a supporting role in the film Spartan and received praise for her first leading performance as Gracie Thompson in Gracie's Choice.
Bell gained critical acclaim for her first major role as the title character in the teen noir drama television series Veronica Mars (2004-2007). Her performance was lauded by critics and audiences and she received two nominations for the Satellite Award for Best Actress - Television Series Drama and was awarded a Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television. She reprised the eponymous role in the 2014 film continuation of the series.
During her time on Veronica Mars, Bell appeared as Mary Lane in the 2005 film Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical, a reprise of the role she had played in the New York theatrical production of the musical upon which the film was based. In 2007, Bell joined the cast of the sci-fi television series Heroes, playing the character Elle Bishop, for which she was nominated for a Saturn Award, and the drama series Gossip Girl, as the off-screen titular narrator.

Just Deal is a comedy-drama series that aired Saturday mornings on NBC as a part of the network's TNBC lineup. The series premiered on September 23, 2000 and ended on September 7, 2002.
The show revolves around Dylan Roberts, an ordinary teenager living in the suburbs of Seattle, whose older brother Mike is the star quarterback of the high-school football team. Dylan's best friend Jermaine Greene is a biracial, highly educated teen who wants to go to Harvard someday. They spend a lot of time together until Ashley Gordon, the new girl in town, takes up most of Dylan's attention. Together they add up to a strong group of friends.
The show was the first on TNBC to use the single-camera format (i.e. not in front of a live audience and with no laugh track). Another single-camera show, Sk8, was created soon after, but the TNBC lineup was soon canceled in favor of Discovery Kids.

A generation grew up watching Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids, the Saturday morning cartoon series that enjoyed one of the longest runs in cartoon history. Now, Bill Cosby's beloved characters make their way to movie theaters nationwide in an all-new, live-action motion picture. Fat Albert and friends are drawn through a TV into the real world where they get into fish-out-of-water trouble while simultaneously trying to solve the problems of two teenage girls. There is, of course, a ticking clock: if our heroes don't get back into their cartoon universe pretty soon they will turn to celluloid powder. Thanks to their initiative and a little help from the real life Bill Cosby, Fat Albert ("Hey, Hey, Hey") and his pals find a way.
