And of the melting hordes escaped to power canteens, we clocked a number of notables at Guillaume Brahimi's new, eponymous bistro tucked away off the lobby of the Suncorp building.
While Buildcorp's founders Tony and Josephine Sukkar appeared to be squiring a client, Ellerston Capital's Chris Kourtis was two tables down with top UBS institutional brokers George "Foreman" Kanaan and Tim Auriel Smith. Brahimi's kitchen confrère Damien Pignolet was in the house too.
