Saints Row is an open world action-adventure video game series created by Volition and now published by Deep Silver, that tells the story of a gang called the Third Street Saints, the title comes from the name of the district of the gang's home territory. Typically, gameplay is presented in an open world format because of the mixture of nonlinear gameplay with action-adventure and racing sequences. The series is well known for its comedic elements. The games' stories are written as comedies that feature popular culture homages and parodies, as well as self-referential humor.
After completing Red Faction II in late 2002, developer Volition began work on the original Saints Row game in mid-2003. The game was released in 2006 to critical acclaim and commercial success. The sequel, Saints Row 2, was released in 2008 to similar acclaim but greater commercial success. The series' third entry, Saints Row: The Third was released on 15 November 2011. The series' fourth entry, Saints Row IV was released on 20 August 2013. The series' most recent entry, Saints Row: Gat out of Hell was released on January 20, 2015 in North America and January 23, 2015 in Europe. As of September 2013, the series has had unit sales in excess of 13 million, making it one of the best-selling video game franchises.
The Third (Japanese: ザ・サード, Hepburn: Za Sādo) is a light novel series, that has also been made into manga and anime series by Ryo Hoshino (星野亮, Hoshino Ryō) and illustrated by Nao Goto (後藤なお, Gotō Nao). The anime series goes under the name The Third: Aoi Hitomi no Shōjo (ザ・サード~蒼い瞳の少女~, Za Sādo - Aoi Hitomi no Shōjo, "The Third: The Girl with the Blue Eye"). According to the New York Comic Convention, The Third has been licensed by Kadokawa Pictures U.S.A. and is distributed by Nozomi Entertainment for U.S. release. The anime was released in summer of 2007.
The series is set many years after a devastating war, which killed 80% of the Earth's population. Earth is being watched by a group of beings known as The Third from a city called Hyperius. They are named after a red jewel-like eye on their forehead (Space Eye) that serves as a port for data access and other types of communication. These beings are committed to protecting the humans from harm. One of the main ways is to protect the humans is to control the amount of "technos" or technology that the humans have access to, known as the "technos taboo". Humans found using forbidden technos could be killed by The Third's best "autoenforcer" an AI robot named Bluebreaker.
Saints Row: The Third is a 2011 open world action-adventure video game developed by Volition and published by THQ. It is the third title in the Saints Row series. As in the previous games, the player-character leads the Third Streets Saints gang in a turf war against three rival gangs using a variety of weapons and vehicles in single-player and cooperative play. The series, and especially this title, is known for its crazy scenarios and lighthearted gameplay. It was released on November 15, 2011 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, and later abroad.
Game development began by late 2008. There was high staff turnover from the previous Saints Row team with one-fifth of the final 100-person staff having worked on a previous title in the series. They aimed to improve on the series by giving the game a coherent tone, and found it in films such as Hot Fuzz and the game's signature sex toy bat. Saints Row: The Third was built using the Havok physics engine.
The game received "generally favorable" reviews, according to video game review score aggregator Metacritic. Reviewers noted its general zaniness and praised its customization options. Critics thought the setting was insipid and that its humor occasionally fell flat, and others thought the game perfected the Saints Row formula. It was a nominee for Best Narrative at the 2012 Game Developers Conference, an IGN Editor's Choice, and a recipient of perfect scores from GamesRadar and G4. A complete edition including the three downloadable content packs was released a year after the original release, and its planned Enter the Dominatrix expansion became the game's sequel, Saints Row IV.
A saint is a person who is recognized as having an exceptional degree of holiness, or likeness to God. While the English term "saint" originated in Christianity, historians of religion now use the appellation "in a more general way to refer to the state of special holiness that many religions attribute to certain people," with the Jewish Tzadik, the Islamic Mu'min, the Hindu rishi or Sikh guru, and the Buddhist arhat or bodhisattva also being referred to as "saints". Depending on the religion, saints are recognized either by official ecclesiastical declaration/denomination or by popular acclamation (see folk saints).
In Christianity, "saint" has a wide variety of meanings, depending on the context and denomination. The original Christian denotation was any believer who is "in Christ" and in whom Christ dwells, whether in Heaven or on earth. In Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic doctrine, all of their faithful deceased in Heaven are considered to be saints, but some are considered worthy of greater honor, emulation, or veneration, with official ecclesiastical recognition given to some saints by canonization or glorification.

After listening to the hit single "Get Happy" by the ill-fated teen pop group B*Witched for 6 hours on repeat, I finally got the inspiration to make this video. Once again, don't take this too seriously. I exaggerate on a few things and spazz out for entertainment reasons only. The truth is Volition did have trouble with replayable missions and getting other features to work properly. Regardless, there is truth to most of what I say, and I try to make some points clear on why this game feels more hollowed out than it should be.

I've found a lot of the Easter eggs and put them into one video. I know I didn't find all of them and that the comments will prove me wrong but, there aren't that many left just a few naked Shaundi's on magazines. I breath the air I feel free I feel the sun shine on me
A new direction narrow path place unknown I've never seen
Clouds moving fades to gray there's a spirit lifting me
Mere reflection draws me near distant image as I stare
Is this a dream? Reality? A man lies before me
Eye to eye the man awakes he takes my hand pulls me in
These eyes I recognize I call to you this can't be him
He calls me son you are the light my energy I am home
