Effortlessly stylish! Ashley Judd drops jaws in glamorous and plunging jacket as Ellen Page gets suited and booted for Peace Ball

Ashley Judd and Ellen Page were suited up for a night out ahead of Inauguration Day.  

The ladies looked amazing as they attended the Busboy and Poets' Peace Ball at National Museum Of African American History & Culture in Washington, D.C. on Thursday. 

Ellen, 29, rocked a sophisticated black suit and tight trousers, whereas Ashley, 48, opted for a similar yet strikingly different outfit with her sheer lace blue frock that showed a little cleavage.

Ashley's blue trousers clung to her legs and flared as they skimmed the floor, barely showing off her strappy black heels. 

She wore her brunette tresses down in loose ringlets that were styled to the side and topped off with a bold yet chic feathered hat.

The very first Peace Ball took place in 2009 for President Obama's inauguration, and the second occurred for his second swearing in in 2012.

'The Peace Ball is a gathering of artists and activists and progressives to sort of take a moment and pause and assess all the successes we've had for the past few years - successes around the environment, around marriage equality, around women's rights,' Peace Ball organizer Andy Shallal explained to NPR earlier this month. 

'Sometimes in very difficult times, we forget to stop and celebrate and take that pause.'
