Gracing the cover of three glossy fashion magazines, the Fendi cutout crop top is quickly becoming the garment of the season.

We first saw the underboob-exposing sweater on the runway at the label's spring/summer 2017 show in Milan.

It since has been spotted on the January cover of Elle UK worn by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, the February edition of In Style modeled by Gwyneth Paltrow, and the February ELLE US cover on Shailene Woodley. With such mainstream coverage, will real woman soon be ditching conventional cleavage in favor of the underboob?

THE UNDERBOOB SWEATER DEBUT:

It started on the catwalk: We first saw Fendi's underboob-exposing sweater at the label's spring/summer 2017 runway show in Milan

While the Fendi sweater appears to be made up of two parts: a crop top and a waist band, it's actually just one piece.

The front features a sizable cutout and the band is connected to back of the garment, baring a flash of the bust and the midriff.

If you're having a small bout of fashion déjà vu, it's because we saw something similar (minus the underboob) on trendsetters Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City and model Miranda Kerr years ago.

With Elle and In Style featuring underboob looks front and center in their spring issues, we're pretty sure the daring trend is only going to gain momentum.
