Her brunette locks are her crowning glory, but the Duchess of Cambridge took things to a new level together as she showed off a very bouncy blow dry.
Kate's hair was looking especially voluminous as she arrived at the ICA with Princes William and Harry to give a rare joint speech on the issue of mental health.
It seems she may have treated herself to a New Year makeover at the hair salon as her locks appeared significantly bouncier and thicker than they did a few weeks ago, when she visited a Scout troop in Norfolk on 14 December.

Flirt with florals like Kate in a dress by Erdem
The Duchess of Cambridge has clearly been shopping ahead of her return to Royal duties for the New Year. Last week she wowed us in a blue dress coat by Eponine and today she debuted another new little number!
It's by Erdem, a label Kate has turned to plenty of times in the past. From full length gowns to chic coats, she's clearly a big fan, but florals are what the British brand does best.
We love the bright and beautiful embroidery on this dress. The colours really pop against the black background, and when teamed with Tod's shoes and a clutch bag by Mulberry, it's another sartorial triumph.
The florals are strategically placed to flatter the figure, plus the long sleeves and slim fit are very elegant. Sadly it has now sold out, but click (right) to shop the current collection or check out the Erdem-esque options we've got lined up for you in the edit below.
The Duchess, 35, who flew in from Norfolk where she was spotted shopping with her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, yesterday, was wearing a stunning £1,050 floral embroidered dress by Erdem.
And she broke with habit and swapped her customary nude, black or navy pumps and recycled a pair of burgundy heels from Tod's with a fringed detail.
Harry, 32, seemed in good form following the recent visit to the UK of his girlfriend, US actress Meghan Markle, 35, with whom he is enjoying an increasingly serious relationship. Friends have already predicted an engagement as early as this year.
The royal trio were at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in Carlton House Terrace to speak at a briefing outlining the next phase of their Heads Together campaign.

Speaking at the event, Kate said: 'William, Harry and I have been very privileged to witness in the course of our work countless examples of simple conversations that have changed lives, which were the first step on a path to recovery.
'Just last week at the Anna Freud Centre, I heard from one mother how talking to a support worker was – in her words – like medicine. Simply by having someone there to have a conversation with helped her immensely.'
Opening for his wife, William told guests that anyone can struggle, no matter what your status in life.
'Mental health matters to each and every one of us. It matters just as much as our physical health,' he said.
The Duchess looked in great spirits as she arrived at a briefing to announce plans for Heads Together ahead of the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon
'The crews I have worked with, whether RAF Search and Rescue or Air Ambulance, must take their mental health as seriously as they do their physical health or else they would not cope – and, actually, that is true for everybody at some time or another in their life.
'There are times when, whoever we are, it is hard to cope with challenges – and when that happens being open and honest and asking for help is life-changing.'
He added: 'Talking to someone else is a positive and confident step to take – but for too long it has been a case of 'Keep Quiet and Carry On'.
'As a result, too many people have suffered in silence for too long, and the effects of this can be devastating.
After making impassioned speeches on the topic of mental health to an audience of celebrities, journalists, charity workers and businesses leaders at the Institute of Contemporary Arts overlooking The Mall, the trio chatted to TV personalities who will be running the marathon for eight mental health charities.
They were joined at the reception by Heads Together supporters including Rio Ferdinand, who has previously spoken to Prince Harry about bereavement, Channel 5 presenter Sian Williams and Good Morning Britain presenter Sean Fletcher.
Sean, who is running the 26.2 mile course for charity Young Minds after his 13-year-old son was recently diagnosed with OCD, said: 'I chatted to Prince William and he has promised that he will run a marathon in Kenya sometime.

'Then I spoke to Kate and she said 'I'll believe it when I see it'.'
The presenter added: 'This is all very new to me, I'm learning very fast because of my son's situation.
'William's understanding was incredible but also his sympathy and empathy with me. He asked me lots of questions.
'I've never met him before but he's such a warm man.Like two dads talking together.'
Channel 5 news presenter Sian Williams will be running the marathon after recovering from breast cancer and writing a book on mental health.
She said: 'The amount of passion the royals have for this cause is really impressive.
'They have researched it, they have personal experience because of the jobs they do - William taking about his role in Air Ambulance and Harry and his role in the military.
'You get a very keen sense it's something they have been aware of for a very long time and they feel as though they can help get the talking going.'
The young royals are not running the London Marathon because of security reasons but will be cheering athletes from the sidelines.
Sian added: 'Obviously they can't run themselves because there would be26 miles of royal protection officers. So I think having us run it for them as part of a team, they'll be there to cheer us on.
'For me and for them there is no greater cause at the moment than addressing mental health and having a parity between mental and physical health.'
Musician Professor Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, spoke to William about mental health and masculinity.
He said afterwards: 'I've always had anxiety. Before I knew it was anxiety I used to tell my nan that I had a bellyache.
The Duchess broke with habit and swapped her customary nude, black or navy pumps for burgundy heels from Tod's with a fringed detail
'Later in life my dad took his own life and so did his brother. I know a lot of people who have suffered a hell of a lot due to mental health issues so it's something that means a hell of a lot to me.
'We see being sad or being scared as a vulnerability but there's a real strength to be taken from being honest about how you feel.
'People think that being hard is being strong and it's quite often the opposite.
'The image of masculinity is one of being hard but being hard and being strong are two completely different things. That's what I want to get across to people.
'The conversation that I had with William we were saying the same things to each other about how there is that common misconception between being hard and being strong and they are two completely different things.'
A spokesman said: 'The main goal of the campaign in the run up to the marathon will be to show people how important it is to just start a conversation with a friend, family member, colleague, or a professional when dealing with a mental health challenge.'
The Heads Together project, set up by William, Kate and Harry last year, has brought together eight leading charities to challenge public perceptions of mental health issues and break down down the stigma that often surrounds them.
In particular they want to show people how important it is to just start a conversation with a friend, family member, colleague, or a professional when dealing with a mental health challenge.
Kate, William and Harry believe they can each highlight a different aspect of the campaign.

Their special interest range from the need for early intervention with children and families, to military veterans and good mental health in the workplace.
Heads Together also wants to use the privilege of being Charity of the Year for the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon to open up the campaign to other organisations who may wish to become supporters in order to 'get the country talking about mental health in 2017'.
In a busy day for William and Harry, the brothers will attend an awards ceremony recognising achievements of wounded servicemen and women.
The Endeavour Fund Awards Ceremony will honour men and women who have overcome injury to row the Atlantic, climb Mount Kilimanjaro and cross the Greenland icecap.
The brothers will also pay tribute to Explorer Henry Worsley who died in January 2016 while attempting to cross the Antarctic unsupported.
