NSW police in Monaro have now taken the lead from ACT police in joint efforts to find missing Canberran Joel Koppie, who was last seen on New Year's Day in Braidwood.
On Thursday, they renewed their plea to the public for any information they may have regarding the 36-year-old man's location.
Joel and his father, Mick Koppie, are bandmates who were playing at the Royal Mail Hotel the night he went missing.
He said his son's disappearance didn't make sense.
"I just want to find him and know he's okay," he said.
Joel Koppie was last seen at the Royal Mail Hotel in Braidwood at 3:00am on Sunday, 1 January 2017 in a red 'Rusty' t-shirt, grey shorts and light green shorts.
He may be driving a 1999 silver Honda Integra, bearing ACT registration YLD 36V, towards the NSW South Coast.
Police hold concerns for Joel's welfare and are urging anyone who may have seen him or has any information about his whereabouts to contact police on 131 444. When providing information, please quote reference number 6057428.
