Across four carriers (Telstra, Optus, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile) pre-orders have just gone live for two different models of iPhone 7 (the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus) in three different storage capacities (32GB, 128GB and 256GB). That adds up to a lot of plan complexity to take into consideration. 144 plan variants in total, all of which we’ve collated so you can compare the raw cost of each plan and phone against each other.
As could be expected, Virgin Mobile’s status as a low-cost carrier sees it carry the day with the lowest entry price of just $62/month for an iPhone 7 32GB, although that’s not a plan with a whole lot of data. At the top end of the scale, Telstra’s XXL plans have the highest total cost, but those are plans with a hefty 30GB of data to play with on a network with full CAT9 phone support, and zero handset repayments to boot. Here’s how all the plans scale up.
