Phil Jackson still doesn't want to talk about Carmelo or the Knicks - but he did manage to work in a shot at Donald Trump.
Jackson dismissed a group of reporters Thursday with, "There's no reason to stop," when approached in front of his MSG office. But he did comment on the "nice" weather and the big event in Washington D.C.
"The inauguration is happening," Jackson said. "Much to everyone's dismay."
Jackson balked at a question about Anthony, and then took an optimistic approach when asked about the state of the struggling Knicks.

The media finally gets a hold of Phil Jackson on Thursday night.
(Kathy Willens/AP)Jackson has not spoken to reporters covering the team since September, but has been at the center of several stories because of his feuds with Anthony and LeBron James.
The team president met with Anthony on Tuesday to discuss the no-trade clause, and Anthony reiterated that he won't waive his no-trade clause.
Jackson, who said in a recent interview with ESPN that he hasn't voted since the 1980 election, owned a 68-139 record as an executive with the Knicks heading into Thursday's game against the Wizards. It's been a rough month for the 71-year-old, who broke up with fiance Jeanie Buss and whose team went on a 2-11 slide before Wednesday’s win in Boston.
