TES In a new world

I have been a fan of The Elder Scroll series for years and always wondered if it would make a good MMORPG, the answer is yes! While the game has some flaws the developers have fixed a few balancing the enemies for example. While you don't earn as much gold as you would in other games, there aren't a ton of uses for gold at this point. All in all, this game deserves 5 stars. Great graphics, the similar (with a few changes) crafting system. Best of all, when they say "Tamriel Unlimited" it really is unlimited!

MMO Inspired by TESO but not TESO

This game stretches and distorts Elder Scrolls lore & play style simply to fit an MMO format which gives the distinct feeling the creators cared less about making a multiplayer version of a beloved series and more about cashing in on the title. From dumping TESO's engaging & satisfying combat scheme in favor of a well worn & boring hotkey WoW styled scheme to the soulless world this game inhabits, this feels more like a generic MMO/RGP skinned in TES art than anything close to what longtime fans of this series expected & hoped for. Quests are equally boring tasks lacking the depth of previous games in TESO series while simultaneously feeling nothing like the exciting TESO universe. Bethesda should be embarrased to have their original work trampled & used in such a way. I truly hope they take all the money from this and build a true successor to TESO V: Skyrim, for those fans who's love & money helped make this series a profitable classic above most RPG titles.

really?

some of these reviews are sad.. i see that some people expected this game to be like skyrim, guess they didnt realize there wasnt a 6 after the name instead of online.. i also see people dislike the graphics but skyrim without mods clearly doesnt have better graphics!! the character models are clean and nice unlike skyrim.. ive played teso 3, 4, and 5.. this one is way better and honestly if 6 is anything like this one that is the only way ill invest in the game.. keep up the good work bethesda, the graphics and gameplay are getting better1 ❤🙂👍

Really Bethesda...

The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises I've always enjoyed. This game is alright... but to get the DLC you have to get the Gold Edition which is just greedy. Disappointed in the TES game...

Money grubbers!!!

Game is pay to play. If your loaded, you can give your character such a huge boost over others. ESO PLUS and Crown store is EXTREMELY over priced. And the level system is completely pointless aside from stopping u from making cool looking gear. People are a bit obsessed with this game. Ive been kicked from dungeons the GAME automatically put me in cause I didnt pick skills strangers prefer???? Get a life losers. Its just a video game! But when your playing alone or with friends. Its fun. As long as ur friends didnt spend 100$ on training and XP boosters.

Full of bugs

This game crashes very frequently to dashboard. many quests are bugged. not optimized very well so its very jittery and the more players in a area the worse it gets. The servers crash for all platforms on a daily basis. would not recommend buying this.

My favorite MMO

The One Tamriel update makes this game 100% a true TES game. I solo 99% of the time. It looks great, plays great, lots of great stories, big and little details just like all the other TES games; it is very immersive and I feel like I live in Tamriel. I got the Gold Edition (well worth it) and can't wait for the housing update ❤

Best waste of money

This game on its vanilla version has so much content that honestly you dont need the dlcs. The community is nice and welcoming. The game is amazing, basic elder scroll but with the mmo complexity. Honestly buy it, its the best money i have wasted on any game. I literally play everyday and never get bored.

Great game!!!

I loved The elder scrolls V: skyrim. After playing skyrim For a year straight I was excited for sequel. Then the elder scrolls online tamriel unlimited come out. I was hoping for an online Sequel to skyrim But I soon learned that this game was not like the previous installment at all. it Is full of abilities, Powerups, an in depth PVP system. This game is awesome to play with your friends and the main storyline is Amazing. I would not hesitate to get a elder scrolls online 2. However I do not think they should make a second game and just continue to improve this great one. Thank you bethesta for all the fun You gave me and all the hard work you put into this amazing game.
