A constructive review of this game

For being 3 dollars the game isn't bad, you get what you pay for and the controls are fine. Allow me to elaborate, in other reviews it has been said the controls are unresponsive, while this is simply not true. With each attack the swing becomes slower for what I assume are 2 reasons. Firstly, it keeps you from wailing on the enemies and destroying them with stun-lock. Secondly, it feels proper for your character to get tired swinging a heavy iron, possibly steel, weapon. Now, onto some finer portions of the game. Firstly, the art design of the dungeons and enemies are quite well done for looking older than Morrowind and it honestly feels most of the art detail did go into the enemies. Secondly, the game makes you pay attention to timing and distance when fighting enemies, which I enjoy greatly. This game, while being a good one, is not flawless. The main flaw is that the jump arc is quite short, and I mean very short. You have to learn to time the jump or you will fall... quite often.

Excellent Homage but Jumping?

Love the 90's pc/16 bit era vibe when gaming was simpler & less Hollywood. Killer sword & sorcery western dark fantasy. On the flipside jumping is broke. Level 4 platforming is a hidden final boss & should of been tested before full launch. Enemies will lose you at times when platforming & stare at walls. For a older gamer like me who remembers well worth $3.00

Only 3 Bucks and it's Fun and Works

I like this 1st effort by a new developer. It rather basic but it can be improved so I am giving a FIVE. Why ? To help fight the lame and unfair rating of 1. This developer is certainly not full of themselves as they put such a low cost on this game. I hope they do not get discouraged and give up. I hope they continue to improve this game too. Like my title says its cheap and fun. Don't expect a $20 experience here going in. It's good for the price..💰🍕⚔👍✌

Hey, you get what you pay for.

What is a 3 dollar game like? Ever pondered that random a$$ question? Well if so this game is the perfect answer. If you haven't already seen a game clip yes it is a little clunky and yes it looks like something that should be on the computer....in the late 90s.....but hey! its 3 dollars lol....plus its a rogue-like game so it has replay value, yeah sure, just ponder on that before popping in Skyrim or Battlefield 1...but in all honesty you get use to it before you know it an hour or two flies, its got your typical orcs, goblins, and skeletons....funny looking bosses, randomized chests and drops, and some weird scary yet fitting music that numbs the soul 0.0, so if you want that random 3 dollar game you have been pondering about all this year 👍👍👍 then merry christmas! And have a happy new year saving up for that random 4 dolla game 💰

Harkens back to old school RPGs

I want to like this game. Reminds me of the Eye of the Beholder series or Wizardry. Tough to recommend though. Hit detection, lack of feedback, and poor jumping hamper an otherwise nostalgic game. Especially grievous since jumping is a critical part of the game play.

Give it a chance.

It's so unbelievably fair. Only 3 bucks! You can't even be mad. Clunky mechanics and bugs aside, it's a fun little title by some newer developers. These guys need support and constructive criticism. A one star review is simply preposterous considering the pricing. Any issues the game has will probably be fixed in the coming days. It just came out! Cut them some slack. They're trying.

I CANT STOP PLAYING

THIS GAME IS SO GOOD, I ONCE PLAYED IT UNTIL MY EYES, NOSE, AND EARS STARTED BLEEDING AND BECAUSE OF HOW IN DEPTH THE GAME IS I DIDN'T NOTICE I WAS DYING UNTIL THE AMBULANCE PICKED ME UP
