ASTRONEER (Game Preview)

I love the fluidness and artstyle of this game! its amazing and is relaxing to play and very intriguing of you love space. Id wait a while to buy because there are some irritating glitches. there are some framerate drops but its playable if you dont play pc.

This game is amazing but does have some lag. The only thing I realy think they need to fix is the way you delete saves. Other than those 2 problems, I think this is the best game I have and ever will play in my life. I love the variety in the resources you collect and the way the game is textured and everything. This is just such a beutiful game. It also has a lot of room for improvement however as the unviverse and vehical range can get much more expansive. This game will definentaly become the next Minecraft.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE the idea. Space travel and exploration with a "survive/gather/build" almost Minecraft-esque gameplay; however the controls and camera angles frustrated me. At least half of my trial experience was running back to my shuttle until I figured out that the tethers were to help explore. Pretty much just gives some basic tips on how to play then casts you off to figure it out. Some sort of tutorial would've been nice. Especially how to extract and use the resources you find. The camera also frequently gave me some issue when using the terrain tool. I didn't enjoy that the camera didn't have an option to snap to where my character was looking or that its so sensitive and the moving rate was so high I would have to barely move the joystick to edit terrain effectively. The backpack inventory mechanic also has no quick drop feature and it moving with my character instead of being able to use the joystick to select things was awful. OVERALL i still loved playing.

This game starts off a bit slow, since there is no tutorial or instructions. There is a page that shows the controls, though. After you get a vehicle bay and a shuttle, the game gets alot better (and more laggy). The framerate of this game is not the best, either, as a mere sandstorm or you placing down alot of tethers will drop it down to around 5fps at the least. Other glitches are prominent around Astroneer, such as falling through the ground when you leave a shuttle to deformed landscapes, its all there. If you like casual games with a bit of difficulty and don't mind it being an unfinished game, then get this game.

Addicting. Pretty. Imaginative. Imperfect. This game will get you hooked immediately. The further you go the better it gets. However, on the xbox anyways, the more you introduce into your world the slower the game becomes. This is truly a masterpiece in the making, but you may want to consider saving your pennies for at least the post-alpha release. Assuming that day comes.

The game is a must have for those who love space exploration and construction type games. It gives you a minecraft and no mans sky feel as you're playing. this is a game that could leave you sitting for hours on end with all the different areas and planets to explore. I reccomend playing the trial before you buy because you may not like some bugs and glitches although they rarely appear in some situations. If you are still unsure wether to buy it, watch some gameplay.

I know i just started to play this game but i love so much its very beautiful and addicting. Would recommend it to a friend.👍

I love the game's mechanics it seems so easy to play but it gets really challenging but that's what makes the game fun. The colors are so vibrant that it makes you feel like your in a entirely different world and that's what a great game should seem like.

I LOVE THIS GAME SO MUCH!!!! THE GRAPHICS ARE GREAT ESPECIALLY FOR PRE-ALPHA!!!! IF YOU WORK ON IT ENOUGH YOU CAN MAKE THIS A TERRIFIC GAME AND COULD POTENTIALLY BECOME A VERY POPULAR GAME! I LOVE THE BASE OF THE GAME IT IS GREAT, BUT YOU NEED TO FIX THE GLITCHES AND THE WAY YOU LOOK AROUND, BUT OTHER THAN THAT LIKE I SAID BEFORE GREAT GAME! I BELIEVE IT CAN BECOME AN OUTSTANDING, AMAZING, MOST PLAYED GAME!!!! KEEP WORKING ON IT System Era Softworks!

it looks great and is a fun idea, but bad controls ruin the experience. also oxygen should last a lot longer so u can enjoy exploring and not running back every 20 sec. 1 button press would also be nice for moving inventory items instead of the slow cursor. please fix so i can buy and play this otherwise 5 star game
