The Department provides staff support and technical assistance to national committees, sections, task forces, and work groups that develop policy statements, clinical and technical reports, and other resource materials related to pediatric subspecialties and surgical specialties. The Department provides oversight of subspecialty initiatives related to quality improvement and practice.
