The Taylors Creek Road fire near Tarago wiped out at least 2450 hectares on Tuesday.
There were unconfirmed reports on Tuesday night that a house had been destroyed in the Hazeldell Road area.
It was also believed sheep had been burnt on a property off Goulburn Road, and two farm sheds and two vehicles had been destroyed, the Goulburn Post is reporting.

The fire has jumped two roads, Bungendore Road and Mount Fairy Road, and just after 4.30pm crossed Goulburn Road and was moving east toward Boro and Lower Boro Road.
Emergency alert phone warning were sent to homes around Boro Road to take shelter as fire impacts.
As the sun set on Tuesday fire fighters were protecting properties under threat on Duralla Place, Kalbilli Close and Mount Fairy.
Tarago Road and Goulburn Road have been closed to traffic and the Goulburn Queanbeyan Railway has been closed, with traffic being diverted to the Federal Highway, causing significant additions to travel times.
More than 30 units from the Southern Tablelands and Lake George zones, as well as ACT's Fire and Rescue and Royal Fire Service, with several strike forces from the outside the region were called on to join the fight.
The NSW Fire and Rescue today announced the first total fire ban for the year, with severe weather warnings expected to impact this blaze.
The ACT's Rural Fire Service liaison officer Greg Potts said 12 aircraft were assisting fire fighters including water-bombing aircraft as well large air tankers including a DC10 and Hercules.
Residents have not been told to evacuate but the RFS is instructing people to act according to their fire survivor plan, which may include evacuating particularly for those with young children.
"It's a fast running fire and certainly any fire that is likely to or threaten property is scary for the residents and owners," Mr Potts said.
"Plus, we are looking at slightly higher fire danger rating for tomorrow (Wednesday) so there will be a lot of continuing work on containing this fire once we have got it under control."
Queanbeyan Racecourse, located at 52 McCrae Street Queanbeyan, has been opened for residents with livestock and horses in need of safe haven.
The Lake George Hotel in Bungendore has offered free accommodation for displaced residents and firefighters working through the night.

Afternoon temperatures peaked at 38.5C and west, northwesterly winds blew at 25-35kmp/h with gusts of up to 59 kmp/h.
A total fire ban has been declared for the ACT on Wednesday from12.00am to 11.59pm, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting another hot day with temperatures of 36 degrees.
Total fire bans will also be in place for Goulburn Mulwaree, Palerang, Queanbeyan, Upper Lachlan and Yass Valley.
ACT and NSW firefighters from the Rural Fire Service and Fire and Rescue units worked together to help tackle blazes at Wamboin and Tarago.
Monaro Local Area Command have begun investigating the circumstances around a contained blaze which broke out just after midday on Norton Road in Wamboin, about seven kilometres west of Bungendore.
Police said they were anxious to speak with a man last seen riding a yellow road bike down Ellendon Street.
