Petrie assault: Manhunt ramps up for Polish nanny's attacker

Police will release new security camera footage as they ramp up their hunt for a man who savagely attacked a young Polish nanny north of Brisbane.

It's been almost two months since the 24-year-old au pair was brutally beaten in the carpark of a council complex while out for an evening walk in suburban Petrie on November 25.

On Tuesday, police revealed the woman had also been seriously sexually assaulted during the brutal attack that left her in hospital with head and facial injuries, including a broken nose.

She was still recovering from her ordeal after returning to Poland in December.

Detective Senior Constable Clinton Olsson said police had obtained all available CCTV footage and were seeking to identify three people from the footage - a man riding a bicycle with a brown and white dog, a woman wearing a black top and carrying a black bag and another person riding a motorcycle.

"If anyone knows one of those people or you are that person please come forward ... even if you don't think you have any information that can assist us, it is just so we can eliminate you from being a person of interest," he said.

"We just have to rule them out, they might have seen something they might not think is important but it may be a key part of the investigation."

Detectives have previously released images of a distinctive belt buckle her attacker was wearing, bearing a cross with the Star of David in the middle.
