Fire Weather Warning
for the North Western, Upper Central West Plains, Lower Central West Plains,
Southern Slopes, Eastern Riverina, Southern Riverina, Northern Riverina and Far
Western fire areas.

Issued at 5:00 am EDT on Friday 13 January 2017.

Weather Situation
Very hot and fresh north to northwesterly winds are forecast over inland New
South Wales today as a trough approaches from the west. This trough will bring
a milder, fresh south to southwesterly change to southern, central and far
western districts later today or tonight.

For the rest of Friday 13 January:

Severe Fire Danger is forecast for the following fire areas:
North Western, Upper Central West Plains, Lower Central West Plains, Southern
Slopes, Eastern Riverina, Southern Riverina, Northern Riverina and Far Western

The NSW Rural Fire Service advises you to:
- Action your Bushfire Survival Plan now.
- Monitor the fire and weather situation through your local radio station,
www.rfs.nsw.gov.au and www.bom.gov.au.
- Call 000 (Triple Zero) in an emergency.

No further warnings will be issued for this event, but the situation will
continue to be monitored and further warnings issued if necessary.
