Ken Pomeroy is the creator of a popular college basketball website and statistical archive, kenpom.com. His website includes his College Basketball Ratings, tempo-free statistics for every NCAA Men's Division I basketball team, with archives dating back to the 2003 season, as well as a blog about current college basketball. His work on tempo-based basketball statistics is compared by many to the work of Bill James in baseball. As of the spring of 2012, Pomeroy is also an instructor of atmospheric sciences at the University of Utah.
Pomeroy has written articles in The New York Times, ESPN.com, and Sports Illustrated. He was a co-author of The 2008-09 College Basketball Prospectus and has been an author for the past four years.
Pomeroy earned his undergraduate degree at Virginia Tech, and received a graduate degree in atmospheric science from Wyoming. He currently resides in Salt Lake City, and after working as a meteorologist for the U.S. government, he quit that job to focus full-time on his website. He previously worked with the Houston Rockets, teaming up with noted advanced statistics user, general manager Daryl Morey.

Comedian Mark Phinney makes his feature debut with this unflinchingly personal portrait of a life consumed by obesity, featuring a breakout tour-de-force turn from actor Melvin Rodriguez. Powered by an utterly fearless, tour-de-force performance by Mel Rodriguez, Fat is a bracingly personal inventory of the indignities of battling obesity. Making his feature directorial debut, comedian Mark Phinney has adapted a series of autobiographical essays into an unflinching portrait of a life consumed by a compulsive and tragically self-destructive relationship with food. Often deeply discomfiting, Fat is also darkly funny, and is, above all, a film of remarkable emotional honesty. "Other than everything being messed up, I'm good," quips the 300-pound Ken (Rodriguez), who suffers from diabetes, h...
Trailer for the Film Path to Glory: The Rise and Rise of the Polish Arabian Horse. "What public television's guru of history documentaries Ken Burns did for the Civil War and baseball, Jen Miller and Sophie Dia Pegrum have done in their intelligent, coherent, photogenic, and beautifully-produced documentary on the history of the Polish Arabian and its survival amid the ravages of war and turmoil. I urge anyone with an interest in the breed, or the effect of geo-political systems on national identity and history, to check it out." — LA Pomeroy - International Alliance of Equestrian Journalists Go to rareequinetrust.com to order the special two disc set.

A beautiful spy on a deadly mission! Exciting pre-code thriller starring Betty Compson and Mischa Auer.
This video is an average Sunday for me in Pomeroy WA. I guess Dylan must have stuck a flux capacitor in my riding lawnmower because when I got to 88 miles per hour something really strange happened. That's kind of average too. Maybe if Dylan didn't know how to divide by zero that wouldn't have happened. ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ Help us caption & translate this video! http://amara.org/v/CTDy/
An overview of my old G4. The commentary is just a placeholder; I'll replace it with a jazz music score in the fullness of time. Edited down from fourteen hours of original footage shot on three continents. Drinking game: have a drink every time I say the word "gingerly".
