Kenneth Charles Williams (22 February 1926 – 15 April 1988) was an English comic actor and comedian.
He was one of the main ensemble in 26 of the 31 Carry On films, and appeared in many British television shows and radio comedies, including series with Tony Hancock and Kenneth Horne.
Kenneth Charles Williams was born on 22 February 1926 in Bingfield Street, King's Cross, London, the son of Louisa ("Lou" or "Louie") Morgan (1901-1991) and Charles Williams (1899-1962), a barber and strict Methodist from Somers Town, London. Kenneth Williams stated in his diaries that he believed he had Welsh ancestors due to his parents' surnames. Williams had a half-sister, Alice Patricia "Pat", born illegitimately before Louie had met Charlie Williams. He was educated at Lyulph Stanley School, later becoming apprenticed as a draughtsman to a mapmaker. In 1944, aged 18, he was called up to the Army. He became a sapper in the Engineers Survey section, doing much the same work that he did as a civilian. When the war ended he was in Singapore, and he opted to transfer to the Combined Service Entertainment Unit, which put on revue shows. While in that unit he met Stanley Baxter, Peter Nichols, and John Schlesinger.
William Shakespeare (/ˈʃeɪkspɪər/;26 April 1564 (baptised) – 23 April 1616) was an English poet, playwright, and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in the English language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet, and the "Bard of Avon". His extant works, including collaborations, consist of approximately 38 plays,154 sonnets, two long narrative poems, and a few other verses, some of uncertain authorship. His plays have been translated into every major living language and are performed more often than those of any other playwright.
Shakespeare was born and brought up in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire. At the age of 18, he married Anne Hathaway, with whom he had three children: Susanna, and twins Hamnet and Judith. Sometime between 1585 and 1592, he began a successful career in London as an actor, writer, and part-owner of a playing company called the Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men. He appears to have retired to Stratford around 1613, at age 49, where he died three years later. Few records of Shakespeare's private life survive, which has stimulated considerable speculation about such matters as his physical appearance, sexuality, and religious beliefs, and whether the works attributed to him were written by others.
Bedtime story: More William By Richmal Crompton An eleven year old who remains eleven for more than half a century! As a literary creation, Richmal Crompton's scalawag schoolboy has few peers. ✮Lyrics: All of my songs are for you All of my songs are sad Whenever you wake at night you say That all of your dreams were bad Give me your tightest arm Give me an "I love you" I'll stay awake all night And blow your darker thoughts far from you Don't say that I don't love you more I can't understand what you'd doubt for Just like how if I would dream your dreams I'd know why you say "just hold me" All of our kisses must Come to an end sometime But it is always your lips Pulling away from mine Don't say that I don't love you more I can't understand what you'd doubt for Just like how if I would dream your dreams I'd know why you say "just hold me"

Fear No More - William Shakespeare From Cyberline, Act IV, Scene 2.
Aston Villa fanatic Prince William revealed that it is in fact Princess Charlotte who is the footballing fanatic in the royal household as he toured the National Football Museum in Manchester today. Joined by his wife the Duchess of Cambridge, the couple chatted with the England women's team captain, Steph Houghton, and her her teammate Jill Scott to whom they revealed that Charlotte was the better footballer. Jill asked about their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, about whom she had spoken to'They're great. Charlotte is the one who shows more aptitude [for football].George is sort of getting into it slowly, but Charlotte is showing more aptitude.' While the majority of royal engagements are extremely formal Prince William took the opportunity to let his hair down as he en...

I hear autumn's call drawing me back to the creek where the wild things live. The "thump" is kind of addicting and stocking the freezer with plenty of crappie fillets gives me the best excuse ever invented. It takes considerable effort kayaking up into the creeks but the rewards are worth every burn, bite, cut, sting and sore muscle to find the peace and quiet nearer the heart of Mother Nature.
Here's Weep You No More from from 7 Elizabethan Lyrics by the composer Roger Quilter performed by The Honorable William Brownlow Baritone. Brownlow born in 1902 was encouraged by Dame Nellie Melba to make a career as a singer whilst attending Eton college musical Society. Beyond this I have not found any more detailed biographical information about this singer or why he was afforded the title of Honorable. Roger Cuthbert Quilter (1 November 1877 – 21 September 1953) was an English composer, known particularly for his songs. “Weep You No More, Sad Fountains” is a melancholy English ballad composed from 7 sets of lyrics from by the composer and songwriter Roger Quilter from the Elizabethan era. The poem has an interesting structure of rhythm and rhyme set in a falling pattern creating a s...

Written by William Shakespeare, in collaboration with Anthony Munday and Henry Chettle between 1592 and 1595, _Sir Thomas More_ was never performed in his lifetime because it did not make it past the censor, Tilney. It was performed by the Royal Shakespeare Company, 2005. I directed this production in 2007. I added the dancing bits in the beginning based solely on what I could remember from Renaissance dancing years ago, so if they are not completely authentic, please do forgive.
