In mathematics, the circle group, denoted by T, is the multiplicative group of all complex numbers with absolute value 1, i.e., the unit circle in the complex plane or simply the unit complex numbers
The circle group forms a subgroup of C×, the multiplicative group of all nonzero complex numbers. Since C× is abelian, it follows that T is as well. The circle group is also the group U(1) of 1×1 unitary matrices; these act on the complex plane by rotation about the origin. The circle group can be parametrized by the angle θ of rotation by
This is the exponential map for the circle group.
The circle group plays a central role in Pontryagin duality, and in the theory of Lie groups.
The notation T for the circle group stems from the fact that, with the standard topology (see below), the circle group is a 1-torus. More generally Tn (the direct product of T with itself n times) is geometrically an n-torus.
One way to think about the circle group is that it describes how to add angles, where only angles between 0° and 360° are permitted. For example, the diagram illustrates how to add 150° to 270°. The answer should be 150° + 270° = 420°, but when thinking in terms of the circle group, we need to "forget" the fact that we have wrapped once around the circle. Therefore we adjust our answer by 360° which gives 420° = 60° (mod 360°).
U1, U.I or U-1 may refer to:
The Danelectro U2 is a dual-pickup hollow bodied guitar made of Masonite and shaped similar to a Les Paul model guitar.
It was originally made from the years 1956 to 1958 but was re-issued in the late 90s, in 2006 in a slightly modified form as the '56 Pro, and again in 2010 as the '56 Single Cutaway.
The sound of a U2 is distinctive of the Danelectro guitar, coming from its lipstick pickups which when both selected are wired in series rather than the more standard parallel used today by most big brands.
Construction materials used by Danelectro in this period are quite unusual for guitar making. The U2's body is made of a poplar wood frame with Masonite used for both the top and back, with the side of the body being bound with creme coloured vinyl.
A single-pickup version, the U1, was manufactured and sold alongside the U2. The U1 and U2 were reissued from 1998 to 2001, along with a new version, the U3 with three pickups and a six-position switch which would allow the player to select bridge, middle, neck, bridge and neck, bridge and middle, middle and neck, or with the "blow" switch, all three pickups at once.
Circle the group that has more objects. In this video you will learn, "circle the group that has more objects". To explain this concept you must know how to count the numbers up to 12. I have created two groups. First group has four elephants and second group has three giraffes. Which group has more objects? Circle the number that tells how many. I have taken one example, in which eight bees are there. Children have to count the numbers and mark the correct answer. In another example, children will learn, circle the group that has more. I have taken two groups, first group has four lions and second group has six zebras. Can you circle the group that has more animals? Yes! You can. In the third example, I have taken four elephants in the first group and three giraffes in the second group. C...

Looking for a dynamic and engaging activity to energize your students? Look no further than the captivating Circle Command Challenge! Join us as we explore this fun and interactive group exercise that will enhance coordination, teamwork, and listening skills. In this activity, the group forms a circle, creating a strong bond by holding hands. The group leader takes charge and starts giving commands that the group must execute promptly. It's time to put those listening skills to the test! For instance, when the leader calls out "Jump in," the entire group jumps forward into the circle. When "Jump out" is commanded, the group jumps backward, expanding the circle. And when "Jump high" is exclaimed, everyone leaps up as high as they can, adding an element of excitement to the challenge. But ...

[I15:]
Uh check this out ma,
Look I didn't mean to hurt you,
But I thought we had an understanding about how it's gonna be,
You know, (Yeaah Mann!)
You roll through or I roll through, (F to the A-B)
And we just do what we do,
You know what I'm saying, (I-15)
I ain't looking for no relationship,
But I'm goin ahead let my boy Fab holla at you...
[Fabolous:]
Yeah, this is real talk,
I told you there was others,
Now we go to war like soldiers with each other,
I'm trying to let it go not hold you like a lover,
See I'm simply P-I-M-P,
So I gotta stable-a chicks,
Unable to pick,
A babe I can lick out,
And I be labelled a trick,
If you down you can roll and if you not you can stroll,
It's just that easy,
When F-A-B's here...
[I15:]
Girl you got it twisted,
You already know how I get down,
Now you out here trippin',
On some sh*t that we already talked about,
I just want to hit it,
And you said that was cool with you,
Now you here crying to me,
Saying you want to be with a player like me,
That ain't cool...
[Chorus: I15]
My bad, didn't mean you to make you want it like that,
And I hang up, and you call me right back,
It's like you don't even know how to act, (What's going on...)
My bad, baby girl we barely even friends,
I just like to smash it now and then,
Now you got me scared to hit it again,
[I15:]
Now I don't mean to hurt you,
But it's not like you didn't know,
From the beginning,
Now you saying that you can't stand to be without me,
Now girl you talking crazy,
I'm not trying to deal with you,
Gonna keep it real with you,
Shorty I don't want to be with you...
[Chorus: I15]
My bad, didn't mean you to make you want it like that,
And I hang up, and you call me right back, (Back...)
It's like you don't even know how to act, (What's going on...)
My bad, baby girl we barely even friends, (Friends...)
I just like to smash it now and then,
Now you got me scared to hit it again, (Yeah...)
[Fabolous:]
Now you know I come through every now and then,
To see how you been couple of thou' to spend,
But you knows how it goes,
Girls act like you suppose to propose... After a month,
But I choose to refuse,
I'm the kind of the man that do's what I choose,
Whenever I want,
And it's never to front,
It's just to let you know,
It's cheaper to keep her,
I'll still will let you go, girl...
[I15:]
I've lost my patience,
With these ultimatums,
Tryin' to lock me down like incarceration,
I don't cuff 'em when I grab 'em,
I thug them with the passion,
Still running from the last one,
They tugging on my ass clip,
I don't what it is, I'm cool on that "Might Be" tip,
I ain't Damon, I'm too young for a wife and kids,
I kick it "if we", like Vivica and 50,
Like Fab said simply, we P-I-M-P...
[Chorus x2: I15]
My bad, didn't mean you to make you want it like that,
And I hang up, and you call me right back,
It's like you don't even know how to act,
My bad, baby girl we barely even friends,
I just like to smash it now and then,
