The Toyota Celica /ˈsɛlᵻkə/ is a sports car produced by the Japanese company Toyota from 1970 to 2006. The Celica name was ultimately derived from the Latin word coelica meaning "heavenly" or "celestial". In Japan, the Celica was exclusive to Toyota Japanese dealerships Toyota Corolla Store.
Throughout its life span the Celica has been powered by various four-cylinder engines. The most significant change occurred in August 1985, when the car's drive layout was changed from rear-wheel drive to front-wheel drive. During the first three generations, American market Celicas were powered by various versions of Toyota's R series engines. The four-wheel drive turbocharged model called GT-Four worldwide (All-Trac Turbo in the US) was produced from 1986 to 1999. Variable Valve Timing came in certain Japanese models starting in December 1997, and became standard in all models from 2000-on. Through seven generations, the model has gone through many revisions and design forks, including the Toyota Celica Supra (later dropping the Celica prefix). The Celica was available as notchback and liftback coupes, as well as a convertible.
Toyota Celica GT Rally (sometimes abbreviated as GT Rally) is a racing computer game developed and published by Gremlin Graphics Software Ltd. (later Gremlin Interactive) released for the Commodore Amiga, Amstrad CPC and the ZX Spectrum.
The game consists of three racing competitions in as many countries; England, Mexico and Finland. The main differences are the weather conditions. For example, races in Finland puts the player against heavy snowing and icy roads, while Mexican races include limited visibility because of sandstorms.
Toyota Celica GT Rally received mixed to positive reviews. Critics praised the realism, graphics and sound, while criticism mostly focused on the co-driver feature, controls and time penalties.
The gameplay consists of competing in three different races in as many countries; England, Mexico and Finland. Each race is split up into ten different sections, with the main objective being to reach the finish line in the fastest time possible. Up to four players can compete, but only one at a time.

He was the host of NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009. Beginning in September 2009, Leno started a primetime talk show, titled The Jay Leno Show, which aired weeknights at 10:00 p.m. ET, also on NBC.
After The Jay Leno Show was canceled in January 2010 amid a host controversy, Leno returned to host The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on March 1, 2010. He hosted his last episode of The Tonight Show on February 6, 2014. That year, he was inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.
Leno was born in New Rochelle, New York. His homemaker mother, Catherine (née Muir; 1911–1993), was born in Greenock, Scotland, and came to the United States at age 11. His father, Angelo (1910–1994), was an insurance salesman who was born in New York, to immigrants from Flumeri, Italy. Leno grew up in Andover, Massachusetts, and obtained a bachelor's degree in speech therapy from Emerson College, where he started a comedy club in 1973. Built from a completely different era, the Celica proved that Toyota did in fact once place driving fun as a top priority within their line-up. Even with the engine from a Corolla, the sport coupe's feathery curb weight, sharp steering, and crisp 5-speed transmission made for an incredibly fun vehicle. Only a cramped interior, high levels of noise, and a general lack of features kept the Celica off the short list of most buyers.
This is the 7th generation, so it runs on the T230 platform with the Front-engine, Front-wheel-drive layout, using an engine similar to the one that powered the MR2 Spyder, which adds a certain poetry, since this ended up dying the same year as the MR2: In July 2004, poor sales forced Toyota to announce that the Celica and the MR2 would be discontinued in North America at the end of the 2005 model year. Of course, I'm not entirely sure its death is necessarily the fault of the car itself, so much as the economy surrounding it.

Today Marcus drives this classic 1977 Toyota Celica Liftback which has been modified by the owner in the Japanese "bosozoku" style. It has massive exhaust pipes which are hilariously loud and tacky, a tiny engine putting out 100 hp on a good day, and classic looks that will make you drop your jaw. We love it. Cory came to one of our shoots but be didn't have time to do a full review of his Celica. I didn't want him to go home with nothing. We took a drive down the highway and back in his Celica GT Tsunami Edition. Cory has a nice collection back where he lives. Cory and his toys will return in future videos.

5th gear and shifter install
