Action scenes in of the world's biggest sci-fi action blockbusters, Pacific Rim 2 are being filmed in the middle of Brisbane's CBD this weekend.
If you were on Brisbane's Eagle Street on Saturday morning this is what you saw as you watched extras with Japanese appearances running from an unseen threat.
It is set in the future when Earth is at war with the huge city-destroying monsters called Kaiju.
Those monsters emerge from "ocean portals" from the Brisbane River into 'Tokyo'.
It goes like this.

Brisbane was being transformed into inner-city Tokyo on Saturday by the producers of Pacific Rim- the Maelstrom.
In the film "Tokyo" is under attack by gigantic monsters and around 200 people huddled around street corners near the Harry Seidler-designed Riparian Plaza – just out of camera shot, capturing the action themselves on their mobile phones.
Screen Queensland chief executive Tracey Vieira – Queensland's 2016 Business Woman of the Year - was one of them.
"There are more than a few hundreds who are working here who are from the local (film) industry," Ms Vieria said.
"Everyone from the second unit production manager, some of the crews, the production assistants and the background extras," she said.
"And a lot of the Japanese people you see here in the film are actually from Queensland.
"This morning scenes were pretty exciting scenes set in 'Tokyo' and if you are standing here watching you don't get the full story because of lot of it happens in special effects," Ms Vieria said.
"But you would have seen plenty of screaming and running," she said.
And buildings in 'Tokyo' will be 'destroyed', Tracey Vieria said.
"A lot of the big streetscapes in the movie are actually being shot here today and tomorrow and yes, there will be some (special effects) 'damaage' to buildings, yes."
Pacific Rim fan Tia Kiel was in town with her partner Jeff Facoory to watch the filming.
"I have two sons and they would have watched Pacific Rim a million times over," Ms Tia said.
"So it is just cool to see it happen in front of you."
Sadly for fans, the stars John Boyega from Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens and Clint Eastwood's son, Scott Eastwood, who pilot one of the giant robotic Jaeger vehicles in the film, are not coming to Brisbane.
Their scenes will be shots in Sydney, the film's unit publicist confirmed.
