What other names are allowed on Facebook?

Facebook asks everyone to use the name they go by in everyday life so that you always know who you're connecting with. If you'd like to show a nickname, maiden name or professional name that you're known by, you can add another name to your profile. For example, you could add:
- Your nickname
- Your title or professional name
- Your maiden name
Please remember that your other name must follow the Facebook Community Standards, and can't contain:
- Symbols, numbers, unusual capitalization, repeating characters or punctuation
- Characters from multiple languages
- Offensive or suggestive words of any kind
