I've always wanted to write my own Bobby Mcferrin, "Don't worry, be Happy" song. CHECK!! There is a part in the song that says "So many miracles are happening each day, if I can just get out of my own way.
That's a reminder for ME.
A few years ago, even though I had so many amazing things happening in my life, I was so caught up in things that were NOT going right, that I stopped appreciating the things that WERE going right. I would start making a habit of chasing the storms and not the sunlight, and started getting used to feeling sorry for myself. whenever bad stuff would happen to me, i would say things like "Yep, of course that would happen to ME and nobody else!!
I would always be waiting for something amazing to happen to me before I felt good about myself. "If I get that raise, THEN life would be amazing, or if I found the right spouse, or if I get that record deal, or if I win that contest, or got the new car, THEN things would be amazing. I was living in the future and NOT enjoying the PRESENT.
Things started to change for me when I came across a book called "The Magic of believing".
I started to change my way of thinking and realized that we don't have to wait for something amazing to happen. WE ALREADY ARE AMAZING!! I would say that to myself often and then i would start seeing amazing things happen in my life. so glad I found that little truth in my life. It has made ALL the difference.
Im learning now that when bad things happen out of our control, it can either leave us either bitter, or better for going through it. I once heard someone say, "Life can truly be bittersweet. But whatever you bring attention to, expands, so choose wisely."
This is a song about making the most and the best of life, whatever is thrown our way. Thanks for reading this far!!

I get excited for Christmas. It's a great time to reconnect with family & friends. This year however, I have been thinking more about those who are not looking forward to christmas., because of family problems, poverty, homelessness. This year, let's think outside ourselves and our friends and family and help those we do or don't know, who are struggling in some way offer some service. it doesn't always have to be money. One of my best christmases was when i went to a homeless shelter and cut hair for anybody who wanted it. i was there from 9pm til about 3am. My wrist was in pain for the next week, but, that experience was memorable! you forget about all your worries when you are focused on others.
Still trying to think about what to do this year. Thinking about going to do an outdoor acoustic concert by the homeless shelter or something

On the morning of Friday 2nd of March, i was invited to perform for a group of students at the Institute of Religion at Utah Valley University in Orem Utah. It will be a day that will not easy be forgotten. Before i got up to give my presentation, a choir filed neatly into position behind me and began to sing. From the first note, all my senses was grabbed hold upon by a heavenly sound that left me breathless. I had to do a 360 turn to see who it was singing. I didn't take my eyes off them until they had finished. By the end, i was overcome with tears. It's lucky i don't wear mascara
During the musical presentation, i felt a strong witness of the spirit, telling me i needed to take this choir to the studio and record the song they sang with them.
Thanks to Utah valley University Institute of Religion for allowing me to hijack 70 choir members who all boarded the bus at 3.15am and travelled over 150 miles to arrive in time to shoot at first light.

Boye (band) were a Serbian new wave and later alternative rock band from Novi Sad. Until the late 1980s Boye were an all-female band, but later lineups also featured male members.

THE STORY......
First of all, I would feel so ungrateful if I didn't send out a BIG THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU to all of you who supported, watched and shared our frozen video. I was blown away by the responses, and your wonderful comments.
With the incredible success of our "frozen" video, it seemed only right to do a follow-up video with Masa and his One voice children's choir again. I decided to feature 2 soloists this time. Viviena Wolfgramm - remember the cute girl that sang all those ad libs at the end of the frozen vid? And also Aaliyah Rose, who's voice I heard on a youtube link sent to me, by a friend, and I was blown away!
A few months ago, got a call from a friend of mine who invited me to take a tour of a brand new aquarium that was opening up about 5 minutes from my house. I immediately had an idea of shooting a music video there.
I wanted to do a fun cover that everybody knew and would dance to. After watching Pharrell perform 'Happy' at the oscars, I knew that would be the next song to 'Africanize'. It was perfect!

Alex Boyé
Alex Boyé (born 1970) is a British-born American singer and actor.
Early life
He was born in London, England in 1970. Boyé's mother and father are Nigerians. While pregnant, Boyé's mother went to London while his father remained in Nigeria. According to his own words, he never knew his father. His mother remarried and worked for London Underground, cleaning tracks at night. One day his mother said she was going to Nigeria for a couple of weeks for a visit and did not come back for eight years. Boyé was raised in the Tottenham neighbourhood that has been described as "tough.". He spent much of his youth in foster homes with Caucasian parents. As a teenager, he listened to the music of Motown, including artists Stevie Wonder, Kool and the Gang, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, Jackie Wilson and Otis Redding. When he was 16, Boyé was working in a McDonald's in London when he was introduced to the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) by a manager. He was baptised soon afterward, without his mother's knowledge. Boyé first performed in public while serving as a missionary for the LDS Church in Bristol, England.

A few years ago, even though I had so many amazing things happening in my life, I was so caught up in things that were NOT going right, that I stopped appreciating the things that WERE going right. I would start making a habit of chasing the storms and not the sunlight, and started getting used to feeling sorry for myself. whenever bad stuff would happen to me, i would say things like "Yep, of course that would happen to ME and nobody else!! I would always be waiting for something amazing to happen to me before I felt good about myself. "If I get that raise, THEN life would be amazing, or if I found the right spouse, or if I get that record deal, or if I win that contest, or got the new car, THEN things would be amazing. I was living in the future and NOT enjoying the PRESENT. Things started to change for me when I came across a book called "The Magic of believing". I started to change my way of thinking and realized that we don't have to wait for something amazing to happen. WE ALREADY ARE AMAZING!! I would say that to myself often and then i would start seeing amazing things happen in my life. so glad I found that little truth in my life. It has made ALL the difference. Im learning now that when bad things happen out of our control, it can either leave us either bitter, or better for going through it. I once heard someone say, "Life can truly be bittersweet. But whatever you bring attention to, expands, so choose wisely." This is a song about making the most and the best of life, whatever is thrown our way. Thanks for reading this far!! It's a great time to reconnect with family & friends. This year however, I have been thinking more about those who are not looking forward to christmas., because of family problems, poverty, homelessness. This year, let's think outside ourselves and our friends and family and help those we do or don't know, who are struggling in some way offer some service. it doesn't always have to be money. One of my best christmases was when i went to a homeless shelter and cut hair for anybody who wanted it. i was there from 9pm til about 3am. My wrist was in pain for the next week, but, that experience was memorable! you forget about all your worries when you are focused on others. Still trying to think about what to do this year. Thinking about going to do an outdoor acoustic concert by the homeless shelter or something CAN YOU GUYS GIVE ME SOME IDEAS? WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Please share in your comments section. It will be a day that will not easy be forgotten. Before i got up to give my presentation, a choir filed neatly into position behind me and began to sing. From the first note, all my senses was grabbed hold upon by a heavenly sound that left me breathless. I had to do a 360 turn to see who it was singing. I didn't take my eyes off them until they had finished. By the end, i was overcome with tears. It's lucky i don't wear mascara During the musical presentation, i felt a strong witness of the spirit, telling me i needed to take this choir to the studio and record the song they sang with them. Thanks to Utah valley University Institute of Religion for allowing me to hijack 70 choir members who all boarded the bus at 3.15am and travelled over 150 miles to arrive in time to shoot at first light. I've always wanted to write my own Bobby Mcferrin, "Don't worry, be Happy" song. CHECK!! There is a part in the song that says "So many miracles are happening each day, if I can just get out of my own way.
That's a reminder for ME.
A few years ago, even though I had so many amazing things happening in my life, I was so caught up in things that were NOT going right, that I stopped appreciating the things that WERE going right. I would start making a habit of chasing the storms and not the sunlight, and started getting used to feeling sorry for myself. whenever bad stuff would happen to me, i would say things like "Yep, of course that would happen to ME and nobody else!!
I would always be waiting for something amazing to happen to me before I felt good about myself. "If I get that raise, THEN life would be amazing, or if I found the right spouse, or if I get that record deal, or if I win that contest, or got the new car, THEN things would be amazing. I was living in the future and NOT enjoying the PRESENT.
Things started to change for me when I came across a book called "The Magic of believing".
I started to change my way of thinking and realized that we don't have to wait for something amazing to happen. WE ALREADY ARE AMAZING!! I would say that to myself often and then i would start seeing amazing things happen in my life. so glad I found that little truth in my life. It has made ALL the difference.
Im learning now that when bad things happen out of our control, it can either leave us either bitter, or better for going through it. I once heard someone say, "Life can truly be bittersweet. But whatever you bring attention to, expands, so choose wisely."
This is a song about making the most and the best of life, whatever is thrown our way. Thanks for reading this far!!

I get excited for Christmas. It's a great time to reconnect with family & friends. This year however, I have been thinking more about those who are not looking forward to christmas., because of family problems, poverty, homelessness. This year, let's think outside ourselves and our friends and family and help those we do or don't know, who are struggling in some way offer some service. it doesn't always have to be money. One of my best christmases was when i went to a homeless shelter and cut hair for anybody who wanted it. i was there from 9pm til about 3am. My wrist was in pain for the next week, but, that experience was memorable! you forget about all your worries when you are focused on others.
Still trying to think about what to do this year. Thinking about going to do an outdoor acoustic concert by the homeless shelter or something

On the morning of Friday 2nd of March, i was invited to perform for a group of students at the Institute of Religion at Utah Valley University in Orem Utah. It will be a day that will not easy be forgotten. Before i got up to give my presentation, a choir filed neatly into position behind me and began to sing. From the first note, all my senses was grabbed hold upon by a heavenly sound that left me breathless. I had to do a 360 turn to see who it was singing. I didn't take my eyes off them until they had finished. By the end, i was overcome with tears. It's lucky i don't wear mascara
During the musical presentation, i felt a strong witness of the spirit, telling me i needed to take this choir to the studio and record the song they sang with them.
Thanks to Utah valley University Institute of Religion for allowing me to hijack 70 choir members who all boarded the bus at 3.15am and travelled over 150 miles to arrive in time to shoot at first light.

THE STORY......
First of all, I would feel so ungrateful if I didn't send out a BIG THANKYOU, THANKYOU, THANKYOU to all of you who supported, watched and shared our frozen video. I was blown away by the responses, and your wonderful comments.
With the incredible success of our "frozen" video, it seemed only right to do a follow-up video with Masa and his One voice children's choir again. I decided to feature 2 soloists this time. Viviena Wolfgramm - remember the cute girl that sang all those ad libs at the end of the frozen vid? And also Aaliyah Rose, who's voice I heard on a youtube link sent to me, by a friend, and I was blown away!
A few months ago, got a call from a friend of mine who invited me to take a tour of a brand new aquarium that was opening up about 5 minutes from my house. I immediately had an idea of shooting a music video there.
I wanted to do a fun cover that everybody knew and would dance to. After watching Pharrell perform 'Happy' at the oscars, I knew that would be the next song to 'Africanize'. It was perfect!
