Mark Potsic, better known by his stage name DJ Nu-Mark, is an American hip hop producer and DJ. He is a member of Jurassic 5, as well as the owner of Hot Plate Records. He has collaborated with and produced for a variety of artists across different genres, including J-Live, Aloe Blacc, Charles Bradley, and Bumpy Knuckles, among others.
In 2004, the Hands On mixtape was released on Sequence Records. In 2012, DJ Nu-Mark released the album titled Broken Sunlight on Hot Plate Records. In 2014, Slimkid3 & DJ Nu-Mark, his collaborative album with Slimkid3, was released on Delicious Vinyl.
The Pharcyde (/ˈfɑːrsaɪd/) is a Californian alternative hip hop group, formed in 1989, from South Central Los Angeles. The original four members of the group are Imani (Emandu Wilcox), Slimkid3 (Trevant Hardson), Bootie Brown (Romye Robinson), and Fatlip (Derrick Stewart). DJ Mark Luv was the group's first disc jockey (DJ), followed by producer J-Swift and then J Dilla. The group is perhaps best known for the hit singles "Drop", "Passin' Me By" and "Runnin'", as well as their first album, Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde (1992). The group continues to tour and record, both collaboratively and in solo projects—the most recent being Hardson's collaborative EP with the award-winning DJ Nu-Mark (of Jurassic 5) released in 2014 on Delicious Vinyl.
Pharcyde group members Slimkid3, Bootie Brown, and Imani met as dancers in the late 1980s and dancing was their main ambition as late as 1990. Around this time, Imani and Slimkid3 were in a group called "As Is" and later a group called the "Play Brothers", whilst Bootie Brown was a backup dancer for Fatlip (Fatlip being the last member to join the group). Bootie Brown recalls that their earlier dancing careers influenced their rapping – "sometimes the way I rap is almost like the way I used to dance". The group met Reggie Andrews, a local high-school music teacher who worked with the Dazz Band and Rick James, and who was a major musical influence on their debut album. The group also met producer J-Swift around this time, as he was Reggie Andrews's "star pupil" according to the book Check the Technique.
Trevant "Tre" Hardson best known by his stage name Slimkid3 (Slim Kid Tre; sometimes stylized as SlimKid3), is an American hip hop recording artist and record producer from Los Angeles, California. He is a founding member of The Pharcyde.
Tre Hardson began his career in the entertainment industry as a dancer and choreographer under the moniker Two for Two with his two high school friends Bootie Brown and Imani. Two for Two made numerous appearances in music videos, but had its most notable exposure with a short stint on the television show In Living Color.
As a member of The Pharcyde, he has contributed to Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, as well as its follow-up release Labcabincalifornia. He also worked on the third album Plain Rap with the two remaining members of The Pharcyde after Fatlip's departure. After the release of Plain Rap, Tre also decided to leave the group to pursue a solo career.
Since his departure from The Pharcyde, Tre would also go by birth name of "Tre Hardson" as well as "Slimkid3". He has also formed a band Faqawi which has accompanied him with his solo career.
Delicious Vinyl is an American independent record label founded by Matt Dike and Michael Ross in 1987 and based in Los Angeles. In the past, the label has been self-distributed, and by Island Records/PolyGram, Warner Music Group, EMI, Red Ant, Rhino and Universal Music Group.

Sonic & friends are at it again in the latest volume of the Sonic Shorts! This time around you all get to see the sonic shorts in HD! In the future we'll reupload the previous volumes in HD when we get the chance. Volume 8 took awhile to make compared to the other entries. Some of these shorts were actually meant for volume 6 but due to flash constraints we had to move them to 8; so you may have seen 1 or 2 shorts already via one of our animators webpages. I would like to thank all the animators, voice actors, and musicians for doing a splendid job on their parts. Each short turned out great. We are starting on a new project, the Sega Shorts Collab, soon and are looking for animators. The Sonic Shorts series isn't over yet but we'll be taking a long break from it.
