Zuschaltbarer hydrostatischer Vorderradantrieb für mehr Flexibilität bei niedrigem Verbrauch und hoher Nutzlast. Mithilfe des zuschaltbaren Vorderradantriebs MAN HydroDrive können Fahrsituationen und Einsatzbedingungen gemeistert werden, die Fahrzeuge mit reinem Hinterradantrieb nicht bewältigen könnten und somit zusätzlich Zeit und Geld kosten würden.
Herzstück der hydrostatisch angetriebenen Motoren ist ein mit der Radnabe fest verbundener Zylinderblock mit acht sternförmig angeordneten Zylindern. In den Zylindern befinden sich spezielle Kolben; auf dem jeweiligen Kolbenboden sind drehbare Rollen angebracht. Diese Rollen stehen im Kontakt mit der wellenförmigen Kontur eines außen umlaufenden Nockenringes. Wird nun der MAN HydroDrive eingeschaltet, setzt eine am Getriebeausgang angeflanschte Pumpe die Radnabenmotoren mit bis zu 420 bar unter Druck. Diese werden dadurch in Drehung versetzt, dass immer abwechselnd nur bestimmte Zylinder mit Druck beaufschlagt werden, während gleichzeitig bei anderen Zylindern das Öl abfließen kann. Bei den unter Druck stehenden Zylindern wird der Kolben nach außen gepresst, die Rollen stützen sich am Nockenring ab und es entsteht ein Drehmoment.
In traktionskritischen Situationen genügt ein Dreh am Sperrenschalter, um die Weiterfahrt zu ermöglichen und Verspätungen und zusätzliche Kosten zu vermeiden. Das heißt, mehr Terminsicherheit und höhere Effizienz. Mit MAN HydroDrive ausgerüstete Fahrzeuge sind flexibel einsetzbar, da sie sowohl auf der Strasse als auch in unbefestigtem Terrain effizient unterwegs sind: Trotz des erweiterten Einsatzspektrums sind Nutzlast und Kraftstoffverbrauch auf dem Niveau eines Fahrzeugs mit reinem Hinterradantrieb. Gegenüber einem Fahrzeug mit konventioneller Allradtechnik ergibt sich eine Gewichtseinsparung von etwa 400 kg. Info from licensor: "A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs. One day while hunting one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear (boars have tusks like knives), the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run in to save both parties. You can see the dog trying to escape, wanting nothing to do with the kangaroo. The big buck kangaroo releases the dog when the owner gets close but then moves in to try and attack the human. A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel the owner easily , so he backs off a couple of times giving the kangaroo some space but he eventually changes the roo's mind with a punch to the snout, as it kept coming forward. The punch stops the roo and makes him think about the situation, giving the owner and the dog time to disengage from the big wild animal and leaving it to hop off and I suppose wonder about what just happened. We laughed at the absurdity of the situation and at how unfortunate it was for the dog and kangaroo. Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse. Young Kailem unfortunately lost his brave battle with cancer two days ago, so this hunt is part of the treasured memories his family and friends have. Having a dog get tangled up with a roo was never our aim or intention and we were happy no animals were hurt in the incident." -Greg Bloom

AUSTRALIA — New footage of a fight online is being billed as the most Australian thing on the internet – a man going toe to toe with a wild kangaroo, to save his pet dog.
On June 15, a group of buddies set out on a hunting trip to show their dying friend, Kailem, one last good time before he passed away from cancer. The men travelled deep into the bush of the outback, searching for a massive wild boar.
Their dogs ran ahead of them, as the hounds are trained to pick up the scent of the pigs, while steering clear of kangaroos. Unfortunately, one of the dogs got too close to a tall buck kangaroo, who wasted no time grabbing hold of the canine.
Realizing his dog was in danger, the dog’s owner, Greig Tonkins, ran out to the rescue, ready to go toe-to-toe with the menacing marsupial. The dog happened to be wearing a protective vest, designed to protect him from the sharp tusks of a wild boar. Luckily, it shielded him from the nasty claws of the ‘roo, too, which can cut through flesh. However, Greig Tonkins ran in unprotected, and one steady kick to the gut from the kangaroo could have injured him severely.
As Tonkins ran toward the two, the dog was able to break free. Suddenly, Greig Tonkins found himself face to face with the kangaroo, so he put his fists up in a fighting stance. The battle lasted all of one punch, a sweeping right bare-knuckle fist to the kangaroo’s mouth. The roo, shaken up, took a moment to reconcile what had happened, and seconds later, he bounded off into the distance.
Media reports following the viral circulation of the video indicate Greig Tonkins also happens to be a professional zookeeper at Taronga’s Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.

Man
A man is a male human. The term man is usually reserved for an adult male, with the term boy being the usual term for a male child or adolescent. However, the term man is also sometimes used to identify a male human, regardless of age, as in phrases such as "men's basketball".
Like most other male mammals, a man's genome typically inherits an X chromosome from his mother and a Y chromosome from his father. The male fetus produces larger amounts of androgens and smaller amounts of estrogens than a female fetus. This difference in the relative amounts of these sex steroids is largely responsible for the physiological differences that distinguish men from women. During puberty, hormones which stimulate androgen production result in the development of secondary sexual characteristics, thus exhibiting greater differences between the sexes. However, there are exceptions to the above for some intersex and transgender men.
Etymology
The English term "man" is derived from a Proto-Indo-European root *man- (see Sanskrit/Avestan manu-, Slavic mǫž "man, male"). More directly, the word derives from Old English mann. The Old English form had a default meaning of "adult male" (which was the exclusive meaning of wer), though it could also signify a person of unspecified gender. The closely related Old English pronoun man was used just as it is in Modern German to designate "one" (e. g., in the saying man muss mit den Wölfen heulen). The Old English form is derived from Proto-Germanic *mannz, "human being, person", which is also the etymon of German Mann "man, husband" and man "one" (pronoun), Old Norse maðr, and Gothic manna. According to Tacitus, the mythological progenitor of the Germanic tribes was called Mannus. *Manus in Indo-European mythology was the first man, see Mannus, Manu (Hinduism).

Jimmy Kimmel
James Christian "Jimmy" Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, producer, writer, comedian, voice actor, musician and radio personality. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC in 2003. Kimmel also hosted the 64th Primetime Emmy Awards on September 23, 2012.
Prior to hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, he was best known as the co-host of Comedy Central's The Man Show and Win Ben Stein's Money. Kimmel has also produced such shows as Crank Yankers, Sports Show with Norm Macdonald, and The Andy Milonakis Show.
Early life
Kimmel was born in Brooklyn, New York, and grew up in the neighborhood of Mill Basin the eldest of three children of Joan (née Iacono), a homemaker, and James John Kimmel, an IBM executive.
He is, and was raised, Catholic, and as a child served as an altar boy. Kimmel's mother is of Italian ancestry; two of his paternal great-great-grandparents were German emigrants, and his family's surname was "Kümmel" several generations back. The family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, when he was nine years old. He graduated from Ed W. Clark High School.

Jimmy Kimmel Live! is an American late-night talk show, created and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and broadcast on ABC. The nightly hour-long show made its debut on January 26, 2003, as the first program to air immediately following ABC's coverage of Super Bowl XXXVII. Jimmy Kimmel Live! is produced by Jackhole Productions in association with ABC Studios. Having aired for more than twice as long as either the The Dick Cavett Show (1969–1975) or Politically Incorrect (1997–2002), it is the longest running late-night talk show in ABC's history at 13 years and counting as of 15 February 2016.
For its first ten years, the show aired at either the Midnight or 12:05 AM timeslot before moving to 11:35 pm ET beginning on January 8, 2013 to more directly compete with The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Late Show with David Letterman while bumping the ABC nightly news program Nightline to 12:35 am ET. Following the subsequent retirements of Leno in February 2014 and Letterman in May 2015, Kimmel is now the longest serving host in network late-night television.

Occurred June 15, 2016 / Outback Australia Info from licensor: "A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs. One day while hunting one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear (boars have tusks like knives), the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run in to save both parties. You can see the dog trying to escape, wanting nothing to do with the kangaroo. The big buck kangaroo releases the dog when the owner gets close but then moves in to try and attack the human. A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel the owner easily , so he backs off a couple of times giving the kangaroo some space but he eventually changes the roo's mind with a punch to the snout, as it kept coming forward. The punch stops the roo and makes him think about the situation, giving the owner and the dog time to disengage from the big wild animal and leaving it to hop off and I suppose wonder about what just happened. We laughed at the absurdity of the situation and at how unfortunate it was for the dog and kangaroo. Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse. Young Kailem unfortunately lost his brave battle with cancer two days ago, so this hunt is part of the treasured memories his family and friends have. AUSTRALIA — New footage of a fight online is being billed as the most Australian thing on the internet – a man going toe to toe with a wild kangaroo, to save his pet dog. On June 15, a group of buddies set out on a hunting trip to show their dying friend, Kailem, one last good time before he passed away from cancer. The men travelled deep into the bush of the outback, searching for a massive wild boar. Their dogs ran ahead of them, as the hounds are trained to pick up the scent of the pigs, while steering clear of kangaroos. Unfortunately, one of the dogs got too close to a tall buck kangaroo, who wasted no time grabbing hold of the canine. Realizing his dog was in danger, the dog’s owner, Greig Tonkins, ran out to the rescue, ready to go toe-to-toe with the menacing marsupial. The dog happened to be wearing a protective vest, designed to protect him from the sharp tusks of a wild boar. Luckily, it shielded him from the nasty claws of the ‘roo, too, which can cut through flesh. However, Greig Tonkins ran in unprotected, and one steady kick to the gut from the kangaroo could have injured him severely. As Tonkins ran toward the two, the dog was able to break free. Suddenly, Greig Tonkins found himself face to face with the kangaroo, so he put his fists up in a fighting stance. The battle lasted all of one punch, a sweeping right bare-knuckle fist to the kangaroo’s mouth. The roo, shaken up, took a moment to reconcile what had happened, and seconds later, he bounded off into the distance. Info from licensor: "A group of hunters got together to help a young cancer sufferer (terminal diagnosis) with his last wish of catching a 100 kg (220 pound) wild boar with his dogs. One day while hunting one of the highly trained dogs was chasing some pigs by scent and collided with a big buck kangaroo that then held and wrestled the dog by its protective gear (boars have tusks like knives), the owner was horrified that his dog or the kangaroo would get hurt and run in to save both parties. You can see the dog trying to escape, wanting nothing to do with the kangaroo. The big buck kangaroo releases the dog when the owner gets close but then moves in to try and attack the human. A kangaroo kick to the guts could easily disembowel the owner easily , so he backs off a couple of times giving the kangaroo some space but he eventually changes the roo's mind with a punch to the snout, as it kept coming forward. The punch stops the roo and makes him think about the situation, giving the owner and the dog time to disengage from the big wild animal and leaving it to hop off and I suppose wonder about what just happened. We laughed at the absurdity of the situation and at how unfortunate it was for the dog and kangaroo. Our 6 foot 7 inch friend felt no malice to the kangaroo but had to step in and fix a bad situation before it got worse. Young Kailem unfortunately lost his brave battle with cancer two days ago, so this hunt is part of the treasured memories his family and friends have. Having a dog get tangled up with a roo was never our aim or intention and we were happy no animals were hurt in the incident." -Greg Bloom

AUSTRALIA — New footage of a fight online is being billed as the most Australian thing on the internet – a man going toe to toe with a wild kangaroo, to save his pet dog.
On June 15, a group of buddies set out on a hunting trip to show their dying friend, Kailem, one last good time before he passed away from cancer. The men travelled deep into the bush of the outback, searching for a massive wild boar.
Their dogs ran ahead of them, as the hounds are trained to pick up the scent of the pigs, while steering clear of kangaroos. Unfortunately, one of the dogs got too close to a tall buck kangaroo, who wasted no time grabbing hold of the canine.
Realizing his dog was in danger, the dog’s owner, Greig Tonkins, ran out to the rescue, ready to go toe-to-toe with the menacing marsupial. The dog happened to be wearing a protective vest, designed to protect him from the sharp tusks of a wild boar. Luckily, it shielded him from the nasty claws of the ‘roo, too, which can cut through flesh. However, Greig Tonkins ran in unprotected, and one steady kick to the gut from the kangaroo could have injured him severely.
As Tonkins ran toward the two, the dog was able to break free. Suddenly, Greig Tonkins found himself face to face with the kangaroo, so he put his fists up in a fighting stance. The battle lasted all of one punch, a sweeping right bare-knuckle fist to the kangaroo’s mouth. The roo, shaken up, took a moment to reconcile what had happened, and seconds later, he bounded off into the distance.
Media reports following the viral circulation of the video indicate Greig Tonkins also happens to be a professional zookeeper at Taronga’s Western Plains Zoo in Dubbo.
