Thank you for everything the RFDS did to assist me when I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident in the Quorn Pass in the Flinders Ranges. I cannot fault the compassion, care and treatment I received.

Thank you to the RFDS for the wonderful treatment you gave my pregnant daughter. She was over the moon with the care you gave. And so much thanks to the lovely people that donate blankets, toys, etc. for the babies and children. The baby blanket that was given to my daughter meant so much. It was beautiful.

My husband and I worked at a remote aboriginal community in Northern Queensland, some years ago as Doctor and Nurse, helping run their hospital.We have both flown with the RFDS and have nothing but admiration for the pilots, support staff and the medical and nursing staff we have had contact with.

I was very fortunate in having Dr Jim Drum as my flying doctor, who diagnosed me with bowel cancer. After spending a month in the Wesley hospital in Brisbane, I was allowed home, and later on started my chemotherapy in Brisbane, which was not terribly suitable, living so far away. After contacting Dr Drum, he informed me he could administer the chemo every fortnight in Windorah, and alternate weeks I would drive the 700km round trip to Longreach. This allowed me to stay in my own home, for the 52 weeks I was receiving the chemo. I am forever grateful to the R.F.D.S.
