A woman has died after crash in the Brisbane suburb of Windsor.
She had been trapped in the wreckage after two cars collided on corner of Lutwyche Road and Legeyt Street on Thursday afternoon.
She was freed and treated by ambulance officers, but later died, a fire and emergency services spokeswoman said.
Two other people were taken to Royal Brisbane Hospital with minor injuries.
Lutwyche Road was blocked in both directions causing long delays for motorists.
It was the second fatality on southeast Queensland roads in the past 24 hours.
A 41-year-old Peachester man died after his car crashed into a tree at Beerwah, north of Brisbane, on Thursday morning.

A woman was in critical condition after a two-vehicle crash on Lutwyche Road at Windsor.
Paramedics were called out at 3.15pm and treated two men for minor injuries and transported the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
The woman was in critical condition after being "significantly entrapped" in her vehicle.
The Forensic Crash Unit were attending the scene where the northbound lanes were blocked.
Police have closed off two northbound lanes and diverted one southbound lane.
Delays have been reported back to Fortitude Valley and motorists are being advised to avoid the area.
