Summer pool party

Get the kids to invite their friends over for some fun in the sun these school holidays. This feast is child's play to make, so you can even get them to help you prepare it.

Menu for 12

Time plan for lunch at 12pm Sunday

Thursday
Prepare the fruit syrups for the slushies (steps 1 to 3).

Saturday
Prepare the fish balls (steps 1 and 2).
Cover and store in the fridge.
Marinate the chicken for the hot chicken rolls (step 1).
Bake the banana cakes (steps 1 to 4).
Store in an airtight container.

Sunday 8am
Make the cabbage mixture for the hot chicken rolls (step 2). Cover and store in the fridge.
Make the icing and decorate the banana
lounge cakes (steps 5 and 6). Store in an airtight container.

10am
Prepare the filling for the wraps (step 1). Cover and store in the fridge.

11.30am
Finish the fish balls (steps 3 and 4).

20 minutes before serving
Finish the hot chicken rolls (steps 3 to 5).

Just before serving
Finish the slushies (step 4).
Finish the wraps (step 2).
