As far as excuses for work stuff-ups go, blaming it on booze is always a good option.
Fremantle Media, the production company behind long-running TV soap Neighbours, has laid the blame on holiday season swigging, after fans pointed out a bunch of embarrassing typos in the show's brand new opening credits.

Neighbours misspell own casts names
Neighbours have misspelt Colette Mann, Zoe Cramond and Ryan Moloney's names in the show's brand new opening titles.
The new title sequence, which features characters posing in front of green screen backgrounds of Ramsay Street, had misspelled the names of three regular cast members.
"It looks like the opening credits team may have had one too many sherries over Christmas!" producers said in a statement to UK website Digital Spy.
"We'd like to thank our eagle-eyed audience for spotting this," they added, noting the Australian crew were fixing the errors.
You'd think when a TV show's been running for 32 seasons with little cast interchange, production staff might get to know their names. But alas, these kinds of things always seem to happen to poor Toadfish Rebecchi.
Ryan Moloney, who's been a cast fixture on the show since 1995 as fan-favourite Toadie, had his name misspelled as "Ryan Maloney".
Colette Mann, who has played matriarchal stickybeak Sheila Canning since 2012, was credited as "Collette", while relative newcomer Zoe Cramond, who took over as Paul Robinson's daughter Amy Williams in 2015, had her surname spelled "Crammond".
The production team had apologised to "the affected cast members", said Fremantle Media, and the titles had been fixed before the season's second episode aired this week - but not before viewers vented their fury.
@neighbours, you've misspelt Zoe Cramond, Colette Mann and Ryan Moloney's names wrong in the new titles! #Neighbours

Just seen the new credits for @neighbours. Apart from the blatant errors in them, they are vile. I've seen better credits in 80's shows

One fan also noted some weak FX work that seemed to slice the arm off actor Scott McGregor (who plays resurrected cop Mark Brennan).

Mann, at least, saw the funny side. She poked fun at the whole debacle overnight, retweeting this fan's sarcastic reworking of the show's new title sequence.
