I suppose it's prettier now. They added in-app 'notifications' (like facebook notifications) for their 'bandcamp weekly' button which you can't turn off. A little red dot reminding you that you need to use the rest of their app. I'm not a fan of such tactics toward the user. I don't really use the rest of Bandcamps services besides picking up music from bands i like so the rest is give it take. I don't suggest updating the app.

It's great, in terms of how easy it is to buy your music but some kinks need ironed out. It's quite difficult to download your music to your phone, this should be simple. It'd be great of you added Google cast ability and maybe connect. To so OS from the app as well. Also last.fm support.

I tend to use the website more than the app, but I haven't had any problems so far. Bandcamp is THE place to go for real indie and DIY artistry, and represents the wave of the future for artists to essentially self-publish their work. Will labels ever go away? IMO, no, but they will be forced to operate more like book publishers and less like exploitative venture capitalists. Bandcamp is the antidote for some folks, and a stepping stone for others. Being able to DL in FLAC (equivalent to CD quality) is my favorite thing about the service.

Tends to crash or freeze more often than I'd like, but this could also be due the overall volume of music in my library. Otherwise happy with the app.

It is terrible for podcast. Will not consistently play and have no download options. I canceled a paid subscription to a podcast I love because I can no longer deal with this app.

I hate this app with a fiery passion. I have it for ONE podcast. I just want to download my purchase. Is that asking too much? Pocketcast lets me download. Amazon music lets me download. I just want to be able to download! I don't think that's asking too much!
