Thou Shalt Break Them, sang by Tim Ahern
On December 13, 2008, Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra presented the annual âMessiah Singâ conducted by Dr. Jamie Spillane Director of Choral and Vocal Activities, Iowa Wesleyan College
This is an amazing opportunity for people of the community and surrounding area to gather to sing in a program accompanied by the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra. Anybody can sing in this program because THE AUDIENCE IS THE SHOW! No practice is required. People just show up (usually at the Iowa Wesleyan Chapel, but this year it was held at the First United Methodist Church due to renovations) and the books are sold right there for anybody who doesnât have the music. There is a small fee to sing, but what a great way to spend an afternoon.
There were some wonderful soloists like Priscilla ...
