The distinctive tall spires that indicate a mosque are recognisable symbols across the Islamic world.
The dome shaped crowns are known as minarets.
Often a distinctively golden colour, the minarets provide an audio call to prayer, when the muezzin (person who leads the call to prayer) ascend to the top to read prayers, that can be heard across the local area.
STORYLINE:
The metal workshops of Babol city, Northern Iran are renowned throughout the region for their craftsmanship.
In the workshops, the structure and outline of the minaret is erected before gold-coloured metal sheets are wrapped around the trunk.
For Shiite Imam tombs, real gold is used.
The tops of minarets have a variety of shapes.

Lala
Lala VC (20 April 1876 – 23 March 1927) was an Indian recipient of the Victoria Cross, the highest and most prestigious award for gallantry in the face of the enemy that can be awarded to British and Commonwealth soldiers.
Details
Lala was born at Parol, Hamirpur district, Himachal Pradesh, India in 1876. He entered the Indian Army in February 1901. He was 38 years old, and a Lance-Naik in the 41st Dogras, Indian Army, when he was awarded the VC during World War I for most conspicuous bravery.
The citation reads:
Finding a British officer of another regiment lying close to the enemy, he dragged him into a temporary shelter, which he himself had made, and in which he had already bandaged four wounded men. After bandaging his wounds he heard calls from the Adjutant of his own regiment who was lying in the open severely wounded. The enemy were not more than one hundred yards distant, and it seemed certain death to go out in that direction, but Lance Naik Lala insisted on going out to his Adjutant, and offered to crawl back with him on his back at once. When this was not permitted, he stripped off his own clothing to keep the wounded officer warmer, and stayed with him till just before dark, when he returned to the shelter.

Laleh (singer)
Laleh Pourkarim (Persian: لاله پورکریم, pronounced [lɒːle-je puːɾkæɾiːm]; born 10 June 1982) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and former actress. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become the highest selling album of the year.
She has since released four further albums, all of which have been produced, written, recorded, engineered and performed by herself. She has sung in both English and Swedish, in addition to her parents’ native tongue, Persian. In 2011, she participated in the Swedish television show Så mycket bättre, which sees a number of artists create new interpretations of the others songs. Her performances on the show were lauded by both critics and the public. Following the show, it was noted in the media that she had been given "a second breakthrough".
Her 2012 album, Sjung, was released across Scandinavia on 25 January 2012 to generally positive reviews. The lead single from Sjung, "Some Die Young" was a commercial hit across Scandinavia, peaking at number one in Norway for eight weeks and becoming the twentieth biggest selling single of all time in the country. It also went double platinum in Sweden and gave Laleh her second chart-hit in Denmark and first in Finland. Her latest album, Colors, was released across Scandinavia in October 2013. She signed to Island Records in January of 2014, and followed with the September 2014 release of the "Boom" EP. She uses her given name Laleh as her stage name.

Northern Iran
Northern Iran includes the Southern Caspian regions representing provinces of Gilan, Mazandaran, and Golestan of Iran (Ancient kingdom of Hyrcania, historical region of Tabaristan).
The major provinces, Gilan and Mazandaran, are covered with dense forests, snow-covered mountains and impressive sea shores. The major cities are Amol, Bâbol, Anzali, Rasht, Câlus, and Sâri. Northern Iran has numerous villages, particularly Massulé, appreciated by travellers.
Northern Iran was a trendy spot during the Pahlevi era, especially amongst foreign tourists. It was a luxurious place that provided all types of modern recreational facilities as well as tourism infrastructure. Today, it’s mostly visited by domestic tourists.

STORYLINE:
The metal workshops of Babol city, Northern Iran are renowned throughout the region for their craftsmanship.
In the workshops, the structure and outline of the minaret is erected before gold-coloured metal sheets are wrapped around the trunk.
For Shiite Imam tombs, real gold is used.
The tops of minarets have a variety of shapes.
