PANI DANCE ACADEMY strives to build a firm foundation of Indian classical dances and extend to create a new benchmark in the aesthetics of presentation by using innovative dance techniques. We aim to explore and share the experience of dance at various levels through performances, training, productions, education & organizing events. Pani Dance Academy promotes Odissi and other classical dances in the RTP area in NC. The Academy offers regular classes and extensive workshops in Odissi dance styles. Odissi is one of the eight classical dance forms of India, originated from the eastern India. It's extremely graceful steps and stances animate the ancient temple sculptures.
Kids ages 7 and above as well as adults are welcome to join the classes. The teachers are well trained in this style. Workshops are organized two-three times a year with well known Odissi exponents from India. Students get the best training to become successful dancers as well as exposure from well known Odissi dancers.

Batu Combong secara umum mempunyai ciri khas berlubang di tengahnya. Banyak jenis ini memang bisa kita jumpai di berbagai penjual batu cincin di kaki lima. Yang menjadi Misteri benarkah semua batu yang berlobang di tengahnya mempunyai Khodam, terutama sekali untuk pelet atau pengasihan?.
Para pakar akik dan mustika alam berpendapat bahwa di balik keindahan bentuk Batu Combong yang asli umumnya terdapat suatu bahan ilmiah lain. Misalnya saja pendapat ahli perbatuan Indonesia, Ir. Sujatmiko. Dalam penelitiannya, dia menyebut telah menemukan kejanggalan pada sebuah bahan batu yang penuh dengan lubang.
Di dalam Batu Combong yang dia lihat lewat kaca pembesar, banyak dilihatnya mkhluk hidup. Namun entah dari jenis apa. Yang pasti di dalam batu itu dihuni beberapa spesies yang sulit dipahami oleh akal kita.
Mungkinkah itu hanya sekedar keberuntungan atau memang nyata? Wallahu’alam. Tapi menurut dunia supranatural, Batu Combang yang asli memang mempercayai kekuatan yang bersumber dari makhluk gaib. Si makhluk bersemayam di dalam sebuah batu cincin tersebut. Benarkah?

Dikisahkan, di zaman para Wali Songo, Batu Combong banyak digunakan sebagai pengukur waktu jam untuk melaksanakan kewajiban sholat. Para Wali memahami Batu Combong pada masa itu dengan nama “Tuloq Ukur” atau Batu Pengukur. Batu ini akan jadi penentu waktu lewat sinar matahari yang masuk lewat lobangnya.
Baru setelah para Wali menemukan ca ra lain yang lebih simple tentang menetukan waktu/istiwa, Batu Combong beralih fungsi menjadi batu kecil lewat asahan tangan para Waliyullah yang disebut dengan nama Angki Jawa Sih Pingalem atau Akik Jawa yang disukai. Mungkin dari asal nama inilah, sehingga batu ini mempunyai tuah atau berkhodam. Adapun tentang kebenaranya ini masih menjadi Misteri.
Video ini bukan mengajak anda supaya percaya pada batu, melainkan agar anda mengenal ciptaan tuhan yang begitu indah terhadap batu ini adapun keistimewaan dalam batu combong itu sendiri karena kekuasaan alloh semata.

Sweet Charity
Sweet Charity is a musical with music by Cy Coleman, lyrics by Dorothy Fields and book by Neil Simon. It was directed and choreographed for Broadway by Bob Fosse starring his wife and muse Gwen Verdon alongside John McMartin. It is based on Federico Fellini's screenplay for Nights of Cabiria. However, where Fellini's black-and-white Italian film concerns the romantic ups-and-downs of an ever-hopeful sex worker, in the musical the central character is a dancer-for-hire at a Times Square dance hall. The musical premiered on Broadway in 1966, where it was nominated for 9 Tony Awards, and also ran in the West End as well as having revivals and international productions.
The musical was adapted for the screen in 1969 with Shirley MacLaine as Charity and John McMartin recreating his Broadway role as Oscar Lindquist. Bob Fosse directed and choreographed this film.

Para Wali memahami Batu Combong pada masa itu dengan nama “Tuloq Ukur” atau Batu Pengukur. Batu ini akan jadi penentu waktu lewat sinar matahari yang masuk lewat lobangnya.
Baru setelah para Wali menemukan ca ra lain yang lebih simple tentang menetukan waktu/istiwa, Batu Combong beralih fungsi menjadi batu kecil lewat asahan tangan para Waliyullah yang disebut dengan nama Angki Jawa Sih Pingalem atau Akik Jawa yang disukai. Mungkin dari asal nama inilah, sehingga batu ini mempunyai tuah atau berkhodam. Adapun tentang kebenaranya ini masih menjadi Misteri.
