Look back at the Golden Gate Bridge on the anniversary of its construction

On Jan. 5, 1933, construction began on San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge before it became what was then world's longest suspension bridge, and what was yet to become one of the wonders of the modern world by the American Society of Civil Engineers.
