A woman has been taken to hospital after she was bitten by a wild snake at Australia Zoo.
The woman, in her 30s, was visiting the Sunshine Coast zoo when she was bitten about 1.25pm.
She was transported in a stable condition to Caloundra hospital.
This is the second time a patron has been bitten by a wild green tree snake at the zoo, after a woman in her 20s accidentally stood on a wild green tree snake in the zoo's Wetlands area last Monday.
The incident last Monday was the first time a guest had been bitten by a snake at Australia Zoo in the 46 years the zoo has operated, according to the Australia Zoo Facebook page.
