Celebrities from Hollywood movie stars to legendary NBA players gave an emotional goodbye to President Obama in a new video highlighting their most memorable moments from his eight years in the White House. 

The more than five minute long video titled, 'Yes We Can: Your Most Memorable Moments from the Obama Presidency,' features celebrities discussing their favorite moments while Obama has been in office. 

The video was published by the White House the day before dozens of A-listers flocked to the nation's capital where the Obamas hosted a celeb-filled farewell party on Friday night at the White House. 

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks, Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, John Legend, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson and more all lent their voices to give 55-year-old Obama a heartwarming and touching tribute. 

In addition to celebs, children, Americans and people from around the world also shared their favorite moments with Obama as president in the touching video.

Hit singer John Legend (above) said his favorite moment happened when the president was first elected back in 2008. 'I never cried before, from an election result'

Seinfeld is one of the first celebrities to be featured in the video, as he says that knocking on the window of the Oval Office to get Obama's attention was 'probably the peak of my entire existence.' 

Hit singer John Legend said his favorite moment happened when the president was first elected back in 2008.

'I never cried before, from an election result,' the 'All of Me' singer and new father with wife Chrissy Teigen said. 

Oscar-winning actor Leonardo DiCaprio, who is an environmental activist, said his most memorable moment with the 44th president happened at the U.N.

'When I was at the U.N. and I heard our president say that climate change is the most important issue facing, not only this generation but also future generations, it was inspiring,' DiCaprio said.

For longtime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, her favorite moment also includes the First Lady.  

'The CVS experience with Michelle (Obama) was pretty cool and dancing with Barack at his birthday party. And he's a good dancer. He should not get any flack for that — you're a good dancer,' DeGeneres said.

Retired Los Angeles Lakers player Kobe Bryant shared that his favorite moment with Obama happened last April when the president dropped his mic at the end of his speech during the White House Correspondents' Dinner.  

'Dropped the mic on 'em, blew the kiss. When I saw that, it absolutely blew me away,' Bryant said.

Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan shared that his most memorable moment is not necessarily an event, but what Obama's legacy means.  

'How often do we remember Jackie Robinson — everybody knows him,' Jordan said. 'To me, he will be the Jackie Robinson of politics.'

Scandal actress Kerry Washington shared how she felt included for the first time in her life during the 2008 election.

'You really felt those first three words of the Constitution, 'We the People. It was one of the first times in my life that I felt like I was really part of that 'We,' ' Washington shared. 

In addition to celebrities, the video also featured the reactions from children to Obama's presidency on top of fun moments they loved. 

Obama is set to give his final speech as president of the United States on Tuesday in Chicago.
