A mother and her boyfriend allegedly planned the rape and murder of her 14-year-old adopted daughter for over a year. On Sunday morning, Jacob Sullivan, bottom right, was charged with the kidnapping, rape and murder of Grace Packer, top. A few hours later, Sara Packer, bottom left, was charged with homicide and 'related offenses.' Sullivan admitted both were responsible for her murder while in hospital last week after a failed suicide attempt.

Kuta the rescue dog who swims with a pod of dolphins off Western Australia coast

Staffordshire terrier cross Kuta, circled in red, loves the ocean. She feels at home paddling with the dolphins at Esperance, off the West Australian coast. A piece of fabric which was draped over the altar in St Faith's church in Herefordshire is now going to be displayed in Hampton Court after experts concluded it once belonged to Elizabeth I.

Thousands of singing and dancing devils took taken over a mountain town in Ecuador for six days of revelry. The procession of dancers is the centerpiece of the festival in the town of Pillaro.

Sitting atop the Hongshui River in the Luodian County of southwest China, the vast pathway, pictured, opened on New Year's Day to a flurry of fireworks, and has so far attracted more than 60,000 tourists. During the day, tourists can enjoy various entertainment displays and partake in water sports, while at night, the entire floating spectacle - which would take the average human ten hours to walk the length of - turns into a dazzling light parade, bottom left.
