'Feels like sunburn': Katie Price shares snap of her blood-soaked face after her extreme beauty treatment

She always keeps her fans in the loop with her beauty treatments.

So it came as no surprise to see Katie Price filmed herself having a micro-needling treatment on Saturday. 

Taking to Instagram, the 38-year-old TV personality showed off the full effects of the unusual treatment, which left her bleeding profusely from her forehead.

Captioning the clip, she wrote: 'Had this earlier Absolutely loved having my luxury dermal roller micro-needling treatment today! Helping to firm, plump and even out my skin tone & texture.' 

Clearly pleased with the results, she shared a selfie captioned: 'That's done feels like I have sunburn I'll see what it's like tomorrow but so far so good.'

To help with the pain, she then snapped herself wearing a 'cooling face mask'.

Micro-needling involves puncturing the skin with a series of small needles to stimulate collagen production and to increase the absorption of skincare products.

No stranger to going under the knife, Katie has previously had eight boob jobs, a nose job, liposuction and even a reported vaginal rejuvenation procedure, over the past two decades.

Despite her own extensive list of transformations, Katie recently revealed that she was concerned about the youth of today and their penchant for cosmetics.

She said on Loose Women: 'I think sometimes, girls these days they're so young and they wear all these lash extensions, we didn't have that back in the day. 

'They look older than what they are.'

Viewers were undoubtedly reminded of the furore surrounding a picture Katie has shared last year of then eight-year-old daughter Princess sporting a full face of make-up.

At the time, Katie admitted on the panel show that she made a mistake, telling the panel on the ITV show: 'You're all right. I was in the wrong.'

The star went onto explain that her little girl likes to copy her mother, pointing out: 'Princess sees how I pose. She thinks it's natural.

'These pictures were taken when we did panto at Christmas and she just saw her mum doing it. I wouldn't let her go to the shops like that.'

'To me that's innocent because she's copying her mum. But after I posted it people were saying to me "Oh my god Katie, think about paedophiles." And I thought "Oh yeah, you're right". When you say it, you can see it.'
