Julian Draxler has become the latest player to go through a traditional initiation at a new club and the latest to make a fool of himself.

The German international, who signed for Paris Saint-Germain from Bundesliga side Wolfsburg in a £34million deal, was filmed by his team-mates as he attempted to sing.

French international Blaise Matuidi took to Instagram on Saturday to post a short video of Draxler singing for his fans to see.

The German international was seen looking at his phone during the initiation

The 23-year-old winger performed a French song called 'Aicha', which was officially released in 1996 by Algerian artist Khaled.

However, Draxler won't be winning any singing competitions any time soon. In the social media video, his team-mates laugh at him while they also take the opportunity to film him.

The 23-year-old, who entertained his team-mates before the club's French Cup game with Bastia, awkwardly keeps looking down at his phone for the lyrics but in Draxler's defence, he makes up for it by amusingly waving his arms in the air.

It is safe to say the German will never make an impact in the music industry but he has already made a positive influence with PSG.

Draxler marked his competitive debut for PSG with a goal in their 7-0 demolition over fellow Ligue 1 outfit Bastia in the French Cup on Saturday night.

Draxler replaced Adrien Rabiot in the 58th minute before wrapping up proceedings with a goal in the 89th minute,

And he will be hoping to grab even more headlines when the French giants face Rennes away in Ligue 1 on January 14.
